@ Hi Renee, I made it yesterday…stupid me, I made a mistake with the recipe (I put the sugar in the batter instead of onto) but it still came out great!! Bob and I loved it!! Today, I will buy frozen blueberries and will make it again following your recipe exactly!! I know it will be perfect!!
You are delightful to watch! I love how brave you are pouring boiling water over your whole creation. So of course I decided to make it for company tonight! It's in the oven now. It was fun to makr. I had all the ingredients. And it's starting to smell delicious. Thank you for this new channel for me to explore! New subscriber as of a week ago.
Made it for company and it turned out absolutely delicious! Topped it with ice cream. The scariest part of the recipe was definitely pouring the boiling water over everything! My husband would like me to add more blueberries next time. I'm glad to make this again!
Just subscribed yesterday! Questions: What size is the cake pan? Blueberries are gone in my neck of the woods, but I have a boat load of blackberries. Could I use them instead?
I used an 8 inch cake pan. I don't know for sure if the blackberries would work, as I've never tried using them in a pudding cake. However, if I had blackberries on hand, I would not hesitate to use them. Let me know if you do try them. Sounds like it could be delicious!!
This is what we in Australia call a self saucing pudding. Yum! We do all sorts of- chocolate, caramel, lemon, pear, orange and almond, etc etc…
They are all so good. I still find the whole process amazing!! Thanks for commenting!
I have all the ingredients here…now I’m off to make it! Thank you, Renee for sharing this recipe!
Let me know how it turns out!!!
