this song is my absolute favourite song they've ever made. it hits all the right spots for me.
i grew up with eurodance, and everything from the chord progression in the 2nd half of the chorus with the vocal melody, the bouncy eurodance-style breakdowns (the second one having ambient background vocals) and the ending "jingle" all appeal to me and my childhood. i also love how the section at 3:35 has a latin feel to it somehow. and then there's jessie's vocal melody choices from 4:08 to the end.
there's just something about this that is so appealing to me.

My favorite band. With Embers, another strike right to the head, to the heart and to the feet. No one able like them to give metalcore Banger with catchy choruses and dance beat :)

This song gives me heavy eurodance/trance metal vibes. Think bands like Amaranthe. I think that's the style they were going for. A solid song. Catchy choruses as usual.

I absolutely love Ankor & Venom blew me away first listen. Unfortunately this 1 just didn't do it for me in the same way. I love that they're always striving to be authentic & original though.

Absolutely! And I applaud the effort to do something different here.

same here, some of their other songs keep blowing me away and engage me emotionally time and time again, which is where this one didnt really do that, so it left me kind of missing that part, but given the story in the series, and the meaning kind of behind this song, it does make sense that this one is more "calm and thoughtful" because its supposed to be accepting the grief finally, having taken care of the murderer, still loving their partner, wanting to be there with them, but also griefing still that hes not here, but trying to look out positive? atleast thats kinda what i got out of it. so makes sense that its not gonna grab me the same as for example prisoner or venom ^^
still love parts of this tho, but felt like it could have more, but more might not have fitted the story either~

This song being 4 mins long feels way too short, it's sooo good. This band is firing at all cylinders, giving something fresh with is rare nowadays
