So this song came out over last weekend, and my wife and I are about to have a baby in less than a month (!!!)- and we visited our baby's future pediatric doc, and during that meeting I started getting VERY overwhelmed with everything- like how am I supposed to take care of a baby, keep them alive, and so on...and I remembered the line in #MyArms that says "You'll be ok...you don't have go through it alone." It's a wonderful reminder that the Lord is right there with us as we prepare for this (challenging) adventure! Thank you for writing such an encouraging song. It's a blessing!!

This song conveys the bigness of God. He thought up the universe and he put the notion of “do not fear” over 365 times in the Bible. That’s one for every day of the year. I think that proves he really cares about it. This song is also a command, not just a spirit lifter. So often we convince ourselves that we can handle things without God. I think that’s a form of pride. That’s why “Your not the one who needs to be strong” is my favorite line. It’s a reminder that my job is to believe and follow Christ and that my Father will handle everything else, and ultimately that is so freeing.
This song is so powerful for people with a phobia and is such a great reminder that when we face our fears, Jesus is with us. The lie is that he isn't or won't be. But because His Word is Truth and He is Messiah, He tells us not to fear because He is with us. So, we can boldly face our fears with Him and fall into His everlasting arms. I want to say thank you for writing this song because it saved my life. I was really close to suicide last night and i don't know why but i wanted to head that song a last time. I really don't know why but i put my knife down i ran into my brother's room and i fell into his arms. And he carried me in his arms the whole night because he was afraid to leave me alone with myself. And that's what "my arms" means for me. This love. He didn't know what i wanted to do, i think he just thought i have a bad day or something like that but that wasn't important. I'm glad i put the knife down. I'm glad i am alive right now. As a person who's had anxiety for almost his entire life, this song means more to me than you'll ever know, Jen! It's been a constant reminder to me these last few days when my anxiety has been at its absolute worst, and I could not be more grateful that you released it right at the time you did! From the look of a lot of the comments here, I'm not the only one whom this song has helped either! I've needed to hear this song for the last few days, as it's been encouraging me to keep myself focused on God, and to trust in Him to help me in these difficult times of constant fear, stress, and anxiety for me. I get heart palpitations almost every night, and while everything is okay on my end (I've gotten checked so many times that I've lost count), they're still by far the most uncomfortable feeling I've ever had to deal with in my entire life, as while I have had anxiety since early childhood, I've never had to deal with anything like this before! Hearing this song has been a comfort to me as well, and I could not be more grateful to you for writing it, and I'd like to thank you for that! I have been feeling lost, alone, hopeless, and broken. This song has helped to give me hope that I can get through this stage of my life. For me, because I don't really have anyone that I can turn to who hasn't let me down in some way, it feels as though this song is being sung to me by God himself (through you) and by the optimistic voice in my head. This voice is telling the lost, broken, and hopeless part of me to fall into it's arms, that it is there for me even when it feels like no one else in my life is able to be there. What my arm reminds me of is when spoke through one of the prophets reassuring the kingdom of Israel that the fight is not yours but God's. All to often we humans can be so stubborn that we try to do everything ourselves and it nearly kills us or does kill us. So in the way I see it this fight is not ours but God's. I love this song so much, listened to it the first time after my best friend sent me it, when I was in a dark place and pushing people away. I'm so glad she did. It reminds me she is there for me even in the darkest time and that she's my rock.

In recent months My Arms has meant a lot to me and the lyrics do remind that I am not alone. The past few years I have strayed from the Lord. I felt alone, depressed, filled with anxiety and suicidal thoughts. While I was feeling alone the last year or so your music actually helped with my emotions(which I have issues showing. But your songs have actually made me cry in both happiness and sadness realizing how deep i had fallen. Your song Not Dead Yet i feel actually saved my life. So thank you for making music that has reached my soul in a way no other music has. You are such an incredible musician and am even better person.) and I posted something on Facebook that some of my old youth group/church friends picked up on that something was wrong. One of my best friends I lost contact with has come back into my life in a big way. She checks up on me. Sees how I'm doing. Hangs out with me. Lets me know I am not alone and she is a call or text away. So to me My Arms is about knowing that no matter what something is always there for you in your time of need. It could be music, family, friends and of course God. I am never alone even if I feel like I am. I actually listen to My Arms before I go to bed so I always have a positive message in my head before I go to sleep.

I'd also like to thank you for inspiring me to talk about my anxiety more, as I saw how you did it in a RUclips video, and seeing you do that in talking about your own anxiety inspired me to do the same! My entire life I have always been the rock for those who ever needed a shoulder to lean on or needed to vent about something they were going through!!! To this day I still tell people they can lean on me OR vent to me to get things off their mind!!! When they tell me they don't want to vent on me I tell them go for it, the reason why is because I had NOTHING to do with whatever they need to vent about!!! So, to me this song is about leaning on someone when needed BUT mostly leaning on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! yes, Jen, the bigger JC ;) Love you Friend and thank you for this beautiful song!!!

This song touched my heart at such at a deep level. For me it is literally falling into God's arms. When you don't understand why certain terrible things are going around you. You don't need to understand everything. God will take care of you. Let go of your worries and fears and give it to God.

You described this song very well Jen. When I first heard this song, I immediately felt that this song was written for me because of how I have been feeling lately. I have been feeling lost, alone, hopeless, and broken. This song has helped to give me hope that I can get through this stage of my life. For me, because I don't really have anyone that I can turn to who hasn't let me down in some way, it feels as though this song is being sung to me by God himself (through you) and by the optimistic voice in my head. This voice is telling the lost, broken, and hopeless part of me to fall into it's arms, that it is there for me even when it feels like no one else in my life is able to be there.
Together, I am comforted by God and the voice in my head, and I know that I can and will get through this dark stage of my life.

What my arm reminds me of is when spoke through one of the prophets reassuring the kingdom of Israel that the fight is not yours but God's. All to often we humans can be so stubborn that we try to do everything ourselves and it nearly kills us or does kill us. So in the way I see it this fight is not ours but God's. And he has already made us victorious through the salvation/grace given by Jesus. It doesn't matter what you are going through, because God is bigger than the giants we all face every day. So in conclusion this song stands out perfectly for the current generation

I love this song so much, listened to it the first time after my best friend sent me it, when I was in a dark place and pushing people away. I'm so glad she did. It reminds me she is there for me even in the darkest time and that she's my rock.
#MyArms reminds me every day where I was 7 years ago, When I truly thought I was alone inside a dark place inside of me. My Arms reminds me that every prayer I prayed, every tear I spilt, and every time I felt like giving up, God never left my side. God struggled with me and took everything I was feeling head on with me. It took me 7 years to realize that God never turned His back to me, or ever ignored me. Whatever we go through in life, God suffers, celebrates, thinks, and acts with us. It’s okay to fall apart because if we believe in God then there’s nothing in this world that can stop us from being put back together. No matter how long it takes, the broken pieces that are us will be picked back up one by one and God will help us through anything. In recent months My Arms has meant a lot to me and the lyrics do remind that I am not alone. The past few years I have strayed from the Lord. I felt alone, depressed, filled with anxiety and suicidal thoughts. While I was feeling alone the last year or so your music actually helped with my emotions(which I have issues showing. But your songs have actually made me cry in both happiness and sadness realizing how deep i had fallen. Your song Not Dead Yet i feel actually saved my life. So thank you for making music that has reached my soul in a way no other music has. You are such an incredible musician and am even better person.) and I posted something on Facebook that some of my old youth group/church friends picked up on that something was wrong. One of my best friends I lost contact with has come back into my life in a big way. She checks up on me. Sees how I'm doing. Hangs out with me. Lets me know I am not alone and she is a call or text away. So to me My Arms is about knowing that no matter what something is always there for you in your time of need. It could be music, family, friends and of course God. I am never alone even if I feel like I am.
I actually listen to My Arms before I go to bed so I always have a positive message in my head before I go to sleep.

Battling a chronic condition that is just relentless and pursuing the best health I can have is so tough. But I know that God is stronger, and in MY weakness HE is strong. Even while I continue to fight now, I love how this song says "you'll be ok....you don't have to go through it alone".
