I just found your channel. This is a beautiful desk! Most of us native English speakers never bother to try to learn other languages, so don’t apologize. Every word was understandable and clear. Keep up the great woodworking.
Молодец, чувак! Не плачет, что нет инструментов. Делает тем, что имеется в наличии. Well done, dude! Does not cry that there are no tools. It does what is available. Bravo, amice! Nu plânge că nu există instrumente. Face ceea ce este disponibil.
Bold of you to assume that watching a dude cutting wood is boring .. woodworking vids like this became my therapy.. also great job you gained a subscriber
The riving knife on my table saw was crap and flimsy and I had no way to adjust it. It was more dangerous with it than without. The blade I am using has some protection against kickback. The chop saw gas a blade guard, trust me! I don't think you noticed it. Thank you for your concern about my safety!:)
Amazing work, Niclas! I’m very impressed with what you’ve achieved with the tools you have. You put a lot of other woodworkers to shame, who have invested in “the best” and I feel you are going to inspire many people who wonder if they can do this. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!
We have to do the best we can with what we have and not limit ourselves to thinking that we need certain things to make great things! This made my day! Thank you, I appreciate it!
You are not the first person to fall in love with walnut. Its a surprise there are any walnut trees left with all of the love the wood gets. Your English is good, anyone who is offended isn't here for the woodworking. My only suggestion is to focus on doing things safely. People less experienced/skilled than you will watch you and emulate what they see, you should take that responsibility seriously and set a good example. That said, its great watching someone do such beautiful work without $10,000+ in tools.
I am very glad to hear all this! Even if I am experienced this won't guarantee my safety. I note that down and I am looking forward to improve the safety in my workshop. Thank you for your comment!!
6:05 I always prioritize the grain pattern (looks) over the smiley face, sad face rule. By the way, if you run the boards 2 and 2 sideways in the thicknesser, you might get good results without a fence. It is a kind of in-out method, or the same as planing 2 boards by hand at the same time. Any error cancels out.
I think the boards will cup or crack even with the sad face smiley face rule if the lumber it's not dried properly which is the most important thing. That's a great tip! It make's sense why I didn't know about this earlier! Thanks! :)
Awesome video, great craftsmanship, and a beautiful piece of furniture! I just subscribed and look forward to seeing future content. Your English is good and you're absolutely correct about the extreme sensitivity of society these days.
Thank you I am glad you liked the video! I am happy to hear that my English is good because comments like yours are motivating me to keep going! Unfortunately yes, these days people seem to become wicker, especially the young generation. Thank you for watching!:)
Awesome work, your attention to detail is superb 👏 English is also superb even though it is not your native tongue. Is a shame people are so easily offended these days 😢 Keep up the superb work 😊 Raymond from South Africa 🇿🇦
Молодец. Хорошая работа. На таких больших дырках в древксине я обычно использую эпоксидную смолу с черным красителем. Шпалкевка в таков объеме дакт сильную усадку и со временем трескается. Успехов в работе!
Thank you! I am working right now on a small cabinet with 2 drawers which will be placed beneath the desk and I will post the video about it soon on my channel:)
A very nice project. I thought the addition of the saw table guide to the board was inspired. I've not seen that elsewhere. One improvement would have been to use mortice and tenon joints on the stiffener instead of lap joints. The way you use the tablesaw is quite dangerous. I suggest that you watch some videos on saw safety. I will subscribe to your channel. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you! I am glad to hear this! Yes! Mortice and tenon joints would've been better but in my rush to finish the project faster I went with the lap joints! Absolutely! I've acknowledge that from other comments like yours and I am looking forward to improving the safety in my workshop above all! Thank you for watching the video and for your subscription!
Yeah.. I am surprised about this, I was not expecting so much engagement on this video!:) Hopefully, my next videos will be as good as this one, I am saying hopefully because the viewer is the judge here, I am only putting my best work and see what is happening! Thank you for your comment!:)

It is a shame how correct you are that people will troll you just because you have an accent.
Unfortunately that is true!
