You had lousy hands all game and lousy rolls and he had good rolls all game, and yet this still was a final scoring. You actually had plus 4 in final scoring, so if he hadn’t drawn Asia there, there was still a chance you could have won. Of course if he hadn’t he would have played Chernobyl into Africa instead. I don’t think Europe was the right plan in that situation since he already had dom, and it would take a lot of ops for control while ignoring the rest of the board.
Don’t like t3 headline destal. If It was defected, your lost will be much more than this Asia 6vp. My play would be give up Asia, headline Fidel, if defected, ar1 coup or repair Asia(more likely to coup, coup worth 4vp, Asia dom was 6vp), ar2 destal into Panama vene Chile Angola.

Haha thanks for this - you're spot on and we chatted afterwards that Europe was the wrong gambit at the end!
Those were some of the most consistently terrible hands I can remember seeing
Haha I try not to gripe about ops disparity but seeing oppo get all 5 4ops by T2 was a golden start. Glad I held on as long as I could :D

T5 ar4 Argentina or Panama overprotect will be better than SK
Pretty fair, was a hell of a gamble on my part!
