Welcome back to my vlog series where I take you along with me on my jobs and learn with me along the way!
In the last episode I did 5 jobs in one day but I made it a two-part vlog to keep it to a reasonable length.
This is the second part of mostly that same day and it’s one inspection and repair job in the country club done over several visits. I did the inspection the same day as the previous vlog's work, but the repairs here were done over several more visits due to time constraints.
You may learn things here that you wouldn’t otherwise learn anywhere else some come along for the ride!

"I hope you learned something from this video." I DID. I didn't know what an EZY OUT tool was, nor had I heard of Marlex connectors. They are now both on my Wish List. I learn so much from you talking the problem through and explaining why you chose this fitting over that fitting. Please keep them coming

Hey my friend I have learned a lot from your thank you Rudy Marrero

Awesome video my friend. And with regards to the EZ OUT tool, I use two of them. One, I leave straight and the other, I bend to the shape of an elbow so that I can get into those tight spaces. Hope this helps!

I've thought of that. I just wasn't sure if that pot metal would bend 90 degrees without breaking. I'll see about creating one. Thanks for the comments.

@@SprinklerPros they do sell them as well at some of the irrigation supply stores. I just happen to have e an extra one so I put it in a vice and bent it to an elbow. Take care.

I love that remote. Does it work on all sprinkler timers or just the wifi equipped ones? The most common controllers I deal with are Raindials and X Cores and I don't want to spend a few hundred on a tool I can't use on most jobs. ☹️ Thanks for all you do.

Sam, that remote is the Hunter ROAM XL and it only works on Hunter controllers that have the REM (for REMote) terminal screw. I have it available on my Resources site on the Controllers page sprinklerpros.net/resources-irrigation-controllers-sprinkler-timers/ I have a video about it here ruclips.net/video/Fst-n6mD-WM/видео.html I use an Irritrol remote for RainDials and Total Controls. It's the Irritrol R-100-kit. It's not available through my Resources site yet. BE SURE you don't get it wet or it will be toast. A remote that will work on "all" your timers is going to be bulky and expensive. The last time I priced one they were over $2,000.

That was a lot of work, you must of saved the homeowner a ton of water/bill.

Yep. That system had been neglected for years. They just bought the place a year ago.
