I stayed at one in Osaka that closed during the pandemic (iirc it was the Shell Nell Namba) - I'm glad capsule hotels are still a thing; with the whole social distancing thing & lower demand due to no tourism I really was scared that capsule hotels would stop being a thing
Yeah it hit them hard especially for hotels and F&Bs. It was a fantastic experience for me! Highly recommend everyone to try capsule hotel at leas once!
Thanks for this, I have been looking for places to stay close to Shibuya and I have been debating on if a capsule hotel like this would be worth it. Your video is helpful and I think I am going to stay at Commun Shibuya this july.
@@bryantsays Thank u for the reply Bryant. Is it safe to leave my luggage locked to the railings? Do they store the luggage for u before the check in time at 3pm? I will arrive around 11am. Would u recommend commun shibuya?
@@enterprisejp The staff there is super helpful. I'm sure they will be able to help you store your luggage. Having that said, it will best if you can just dm them about it. I've been to 9hours and common shibuya, I have to say I will pick commun shibuya anytime!

Do you check in and out everytime you leave hotel?
No you do not have to, but you need to pass them the key when you leave the hotel and collect the key when you return back to the hotel
Where do I keep my luggage?

Whether it is safe or not, I would like to say it is safe but always bring your important things with you as a caution :)
