You miss so much stuff when you just run through the caves. You should take your time and kill the enemies as you come across them so they don't all follow you and build up to such huge crowds. Then you can have plenty of uninterrupted time to look around and make sure you get the important items in the various areas. It's just a much better strategy than to try to run through there without fighting.
You can go back to the life raft and get 2nd gun for yourself ;) Thanks a mil for the video GE! Loving the series
Hey gameedged, if you build shelves in your base you can store all sorts of stuff to empty your backpack when you explore, love the videos
Are the items all spaced out weirdly like the first one? Just curious

Hey GameEdged,
I befriended Virginia within a week (I just stuck around one area, built a good starter base). Point being, I've got 33 hours in the game, and have like 9 aloe and I don't know how many seeds, and that' was all from Virginia. She'll bring you aloe, mostly, it seems, followed by the occasional berries, rabbit, squirrel, or fish.
Once your affinity is high with Virginia, she'll follow you around the map (albeit, slowly). What's most entertaining is once she has the shotty as well as the pistol, and you get captured: Give it some time, she'll show up. When she does, it's an absolute bloodbath. ;)
Another thing, when you find someplace you want to revisit frequently, jab a stick in the ground and put a GPS marker on it. And yes, the marker bodies do keep coming back: It's an opportunity to collect GPS trackers.
GameEdged is on fire! Three videos in less than 24hrs. This game is awesome, really glad you are playing.

FYI: Your flashlight will autoload batteries while youre holding it, as long as you have batteries in inventory.
Close to ur base u have some tents and u can find winter jacket and no more cold ))

That little round pond, with all the streams leading out of it, nearby is another lake that kind of looks like either a kidney or the head of a putter (depending on your personality type ;) ), there's a camp near the waterfall that has a winter coat. Doesn't entirely negate the cold, but it *absolutely* does help.

You need to let Kalvin rest more thats why he isnt doing anything... also have him clear an area or build something... put you fire inside your base and build a bed
While the caves are scarier than the first game; I feel like leaving enemies behind unnecessarily makes it much harder to get all the loot as well as navigate. Your chaotic approach is entertaining.
Especially since the caves are the only place the enemies DON'T come back.

Try to panic less in caves -use your molotovs(wide AoE -area of effect) and spear when they chase you down -bet they gonna "love" being burned (primitive as it is ,it makes up for distance)-speaking of fire ,remember original forest game-build trophies and defences with fire -also ,try to find that shottie (it has good AoE too )-always loving your surviving style-you got this

I finally got caught up! I love this! Great video man!
The flashlight auto replenishes power/batteries if you have any in your inventory... the guns respawn each time you load in, so you can afford to give Virginia 1, and a shotgun when possible though you'll need the shovel for the shotgun
when picking the pistol, i found it bugs out when you collect the handgun rail first, then handgun second, but if you collect the gun first then the rail it will actually not bug out, also back in the cave where you blew up that mutant, you picked up 2 Timed C4, and then made an extra
also the rebreather auto equips when you need it

Well Done for making it through the caves for the grappling gun and shovel 🌟 There are way to many mutants in there to kill! ☠️ I wish this game had storage chests to put all the extra stuff in - I don’t recall how much the shelves can hold but I did see them in the crafting options.

the only stress levls is that you just run past weapons and stuff on the ground, just kill em one at a time and there would have been more time to explore then just panic running

Umm, GE... you can go get the gun again... unless the 🎶baaaaaaaaaby shark do do do do🎶 scared you off.
Kelvin can only go a certain distance out to get logs, if he's not getting any it means he's cleared out all the trees in his range.
Use up some flares in the caves, might help with visibility in front.
But the guys with your torch it’ll burn them and kill them fast especially those ones you were running from in the tier 1 cave where you had to blow up the huge blob cause after the blob the enemies get tougher

There's a flashlight attachment for the pistol in the Shovel cave. Its on one of the bodies in one of the big open areas.
missed a few things in the caves have to go back when you have firepower and get the loot you missed. The shovel is super helpful too.
You can take down the tarps by holding C when finished using the safe/sleep function so you have tarps on you all the time.

GE, if you have complete tech armor it lights up.
If I ever play this game it would have to be multiplayer and I’ll be in charge or building and cooking. I say NO to caves. Hey GE, will the pistol respawn on the raft? Have you checked? Love the videos. Game is amazing. Terrifying but amazing.
For Pete's sake you have molotov and grenades! You can fight the monsters in the cave so you can get the items. That was a pain to watch.
You can skin those things in the caves and it gives you better armor than bone also.

Nice gamplay Dude, but i guess u know now u build much to big. U only need two small rooms with a bed and for some shelters. I have 3 Bases 2x3 and some spike traps. They r very useful. I signed only the Blueprint cabins and Kelvin build it. Yes the building system is amazing and invite to build a castle, but its useless. A base near a 3D printer is useful to craft always the tech mesh amor. On the balancing they must work, The Raids is much to often. U cant build 5 minutes. Also the Mutants r to strong. I give Virginia the shotgun and the revolver. She is great with it. Weapons also respawn

and you can make fire arrows so they work as a torch too
When you give Virginia a gun, you still have that gun in your inventory and can use it. It's like it duplicates the gun. I realised by accident lol.

now that you have the spades, you can dig out the shot gun at the family cemetery and an e card from the dig site where the party was supposed to be LOL

GE no need to remove all the leftover items after crafting. Simply hit I and everything goes back in its slot.
Also Kelvin stops doing his chores when you save or if he gets tired
GE is the only person I've seen to get full armored in this game.
well he IS pretty MATICULOUS about EVERYTHING. He goes threw the motions of making sure he is maxed on EVERYTHING before doing anything constantly.
I believe that weird tent glitch happens when you have extra tarps in your hand while putting the sticks in place.
Check if the Gun has respawned. Then you have 2 guns. And I hope the developers have put a flamethrower in the game. Those caves look scary.
just so you know you can combine the flashlight to your bow so you have light and weapon at the same time

You know once you save and come back you can go get the pistol again and you can both have them.
Are you able to give Kelvin and Virginia Bone armor now that you know how to cycle through your inventory? Also the weapons/arrows are in the top of the black box at the top of your inventory

You should try and get the gun back so you can have a long range weapon

There is storage, it's a shelf unit you build.
Hey I noticed you keep saying that Virginia could be here could be there have you it out one of those gps tracking devices on here yet ? As soon as she’s good with you and you change her clothes to the camo ones throw one of those gps locators on her and you will know where she is all the time

He apparently hasn't realized those dudes in the caves are blind mostly and only go after you when you're noisy....and hasn't learned he can crouch and go stealthy....

Great video but the fact that you didn’t kill a single one of the dudes in the cave was really annoying also it forced you to rush through and miss a ton of useful items
Not hating but you have more than enough resources to fight them. They aren’t strong. Also with you just running through you waste so much armor

Arrows are store in red box in your backpack left upper corner, grenades are in blackbox
My arrows are in the lid of the black box
Supposedly, If you crouch and sneak up to the monsters in the cave to fight them, they find it harder to hit you

I would rather watch you go throught caves like they are meant to, killing the enemies as you go. I think that would be more entertaining as well.

I will never understand why you did not crouch in the cave to avoid them? The mutants in the caves a blind so just stay silent and you´re good.
