TIP: Tap E to pick up an item, HOLD E to use the item. Already full on sodapops? Don't open your inventory, drink a pop, close your inventory then pick up the pop... INSTEAD, HOLD E and just drink the pop in front of you.
Hey GE, something to try for you. When Virginia goes down to the River in the future and stays there try going to her and opening her inventory for a moment and get back out. The few times she's been wandering aimlessly for me I did that and she went back to following me around.
The tracksuit is only for followers for now. Also, the pjamas are in the float tank area in a separate private float tank room on a shelf. Pj's only work for followers too. Ya might have already picked them up and don't kno because they look like a cloth drop and like the track suit they only appear in your follower item give menu. Btw, Virginia looks cute in the pjs
The pajamas are on a little corner self if they are in the gym area also the track suit is a Virginia only outfit.
That was funny how the creature and arrow got sucked into the wall dimension. LOL I was not expecting that.

They REALLY need a 'Recall' button, so that you can call them back to you when they wander off.

I got my wife to start watching this play through with me and she loves it I like to watch "green hell" and this playthrough awesome work. I think some of your issues with the skin pouch is your herbs and plants are full . Keep up the great work 👍

GE, Try throwing small stones to get the cave guys' attention away from you, they're blind so they go to any noise they hear.

I don't understand why you don't see more people using spears. You can carry 5 and they are cheap to make. They are perfect against babies and a thrown spear to the head softens enemies up real good while they are just standing there eyeing you up. I think the speed of the spear can make up for its lower damage and if you go for the legs you can stagger some enemies. To each their own though.
He's a good builder but he's just awful when it comes to combat in any game he plays...
The "CatDog" thing is not the Twins. The Twins are the one that crawls around on the floor

Sons of the Forest. The game was the sequel to The Forest, released in 2014.
In technical terms, the difference is immediately noticeable, but otherwise there are not so many changes: an open world, a first-person view, a main character who survived a plane crash, found himself on a remote island overgrown with dense forest, which cannibals similar to typical zombies have long and thoroughly chosen.
You can give outfits the kelvin. I suggest the leather jacket, kind of looks like Johnny cage. I think you'll get a laugh out of it 👌👍

Remember to take your time and not rush, when you rush you miss a ton of things. You also do know that if you find batteries you can save exit and come back and you can get the batteries again, yes it might be considered "cheating" but its free batteries :)

While you are in this mall area go to the front of the receptions desk where the weird hot tubs are at . Turn left, got straight to the end and take all the left turns to all the way to the last wall . In the left corner you will see some corner shelves . On one shelf are some silk pajamas you can pick up and give them to Kelvin to wear . Sexy man that he is . LOL Seem to me Virginia should get them but nope , it's Kelvin .

the fire axe is best for tree chopping, but the modern axe is so much better for combat if in melee few other weapons have the speed, power, and blocking combo it does. it can kill most things quickly. Also you should turn up gamma in settings as the torch isn't good for exploring in dark places due to it limiting your sight range vs a lighter.

They are conjoined by the hip. Cat dog was a cat on one end and a dog on the other. That's why people keep calling that one cat dog. Hope this makes more sense now lol

No the long cat-dog is called John 2.0. The ones connected in a V shape are the Twins.
Because 'John' is also the official name OF CatDog.

Flares offer very little light actually. That's why people rarely use them.
You should go get the katana and revolver both are pretty strong you can put the trade suit and other clothing on kelvin

If you power attack the guys at the right time and let it charge up, you can kill them with one hit before they hit you
Hey GE, when you’re up against fingers, use the spear to hit his legs. He will fall to the ground and then you can get a couple free hits in him. I do this all the time and it works great.
If you find the compound bow that might reduce the arrows you miss. I imagine it fires straighter. You're doing great though, having Kelvin follow and collect arrows after fights was very clever.

I was wandering, maybe in inventory you can hold mouse click instead of spam clicking to apply more items while crafting. Atleast it worked like that in The Forest.

I don't mind the building aspects of any game you record. But ever thought about making another youtube channel for just building things? Some may like that idea, but the cost of it will come with LOTS and LOTS of editing time for both channels.
You would need time to record/edit the playthrough, on top of record/edit the same playthrough but just the building portions of a particular game you are working on.

you do know you can adjust the gamma in your game setting right? just when you're in the tunnels, caves etc. i know it is a bit of a hassle but it's worth it rather than seeing you go aimlessly in the dark and you saying you can't see shite even though you already took out your torch and lighter.

The question is can I run sons of the forest an other titles in Highdef Graphics and or run most games in High to Ultra Graphics with a 3080 with minimal issue?

Clothing is given to Virginia or Kelvin for a change of costume pretty much, don't think it does much for your character.
Some offer temperature protection like the winter jacket, and the wet suit helps with swimming and cold while swimming i think but im not 100% on that

i dont think people dont like the building part its just the fact there so much more to the game then just buiding a 3000 foot shelter. theres so much to find in the game like weapons and a whole map to exsplore . and every game like this you play everyone sees 95% building an 5% exploreing and after awhile it gets boring. sorry

What’s the point of having the crossbow and hand gun if you’re only going to use the axe and loose all your armor? Lol
I really hope you see this cause you literally never do it and I want you to stop loosing armour. You can block and deflect attacks with right click. All you must do is click to deflect and hold to block. Please save yourself armour and defend yourself lol. Also CatDog is just an amazing cartoon lol.

Bro get your pistol back swim back out to the raft u can re pick up the pistol at least me and my friends r able to re loot place to pick stuff up including the pistol so now virgina has a pistol and I have one again.
