This concert is timeless! Truly the peak of Miku Expo! Looking at the set list and hologram here makes me so sad that I missed such a beautiful thing, and it makes me even more sad that Miku Expo 2024 is the seeping pile of dogshit that it is.
I would have also liked to see Miku in hologram form but, I didn't really care, I was at the Los Angeles Miku Expo and loved my time there. The fans were awesome and super kind, the musicians were also awesome. If this is a better method for the team to present Miku to the world, then that's fine. I loved my first Miku Expo in Los Angeles.
Delirium androids are already pretty close to lifelike already. I don’t think that you’ll ever be able to create a robot that looks exactly like an anime character though. Even the best dolls and miniatures don’t pull it off and instead look kind of creepy.
And even more now. Now we have exe23, Maretu, INABAKUMORI, Chinozo. And we now have new technology like Cevio AI and SynthV. It’s such a great time to get into vocaloid and synths in general.
I am really enjoying watching all the people with their glow sticks wave them around like it’s an art. Like they know when to do what, when to start cheering, and when to stop. I spent most of the time just looking at them. I really enjoyed the video and I really want to go to one of these since I knew most of the songs and I now sort of know what songs to expect (which some would think I would not want to go to one because I know, but nope, I still want to go) so I want to go to one even more now because of this video so thank you for posting this.
You're the real MVP for recording the whole thing! I hope you still had a great concert experience even though you had to hold up your phone for 2 hours. I'll be at the London Expo end of this year and I secretly hope they'll make a few changes to the set list (especially since the Europe tour is after Magical Mirai, and MM always introduces quite a few new songs). Would cry if 39 or Hand in Hand were in the setlist ;-;

Wowie this was my first time at a miku expo and I lost my voice from screaming so hard !! Lol ! uwu I can legit hear my screams when Len, Rin, and all the other songs I lost my voice to were there, lol whoops. They sounded a lot more high pitched then expected tbh I was somewhat in shock since this was my first time here. But honestly, it was so worth the money, and there song list was absolutely amazing! They never use motions from the DIVA games. They always make new motions. Also, why would they replace Ghost Rule with Raspberry*Monster in the San Hose concert?
I KNOW! I was lowkey pretty angry that they did that. I don't know if they're going to change any songs at the dallas concery tonight but we'll just have to see. Also, I think at some point during one of the concerts (dont remember which one but i've seen almost all of the ones that have been put out on disc) they used the same motions from the game. Maybe i'm wrong but i do know that they usually don't so you are correct there lol. but the reason i mentioned it is because i was thinking back on when they released ghost rule as dlc for future tone and people were getting mad that they just used the same motions from magical mirai.
I have a feeling the next Miku game is going to be awesome.... just a guess! Luka, Kaito, and Meiko need more love though... I love Miku so this is awesome but Luka's my favorite and I don't want them to forget Kaito and Meiko ... *sigh*

y'all i'm legit crying because of gemini at 1:04:50 rn bec damn this song!!! way way back when i first read the lyrics for this song in 2010 i couldn't stop crying. it made me realize how much i loved my friends (which i had just met at the time) because they, unlike my friends from before, didn't expect anything from me. they were simply there for me whenever i needed them, whenever i needed a shoulder to cry on or a helping hand. for me who became dependent on my friends rather than my family for emotional support, this realization really hit me hard and it's all thanks to Gemini by DixieFlatline. if i had been at that concert in person, i would be outright sobbing i love this song so much

I'm glad everyone that went to the Miku Expo in Los Angeles had a blast. To all you people that are going to the one in Washington DC, I hope to see you there! Edit: The experience I had was hands down, the best experience of my whole life. I took selfies with cosplayers, bought merch, and even screamed with my best friend when she was there! I went into the pit when the concert was over and that one Len cosplayer kept popping up EVERYWHERE!

This was my first ever concert, the 2018 Miku Expo that was held in Dallas TX & it was a great experience, even though I was so short that if I stood at my tip toes I could only see their head, not their body. I wish I had enough money to buy the VIP ticket, would have been so useful considering I came 8 hours early.
Sammu my personal opinion, this is the best concert she has ever done, I juts wish that Kaito and Meiko had another song each like Nostalgia and Snow Man
This is such an incredible vibe that I actually started waving my hands with the crowds and started singing durring Law Evading Rock. Even through my smartphone screen I was rocking out like I was there. I NEED TO GO NOW.

I went to the 2016 Expo in Dallas and didn't think it'd be too different to that one, so I didn't save money for 2018. BUT NOT ONLY DID THEY DO DOCTOR FUNK BEAT, BUT ALSO GEMINI AND SATISFACTION!!!! Definitely going to Miku Expo 2020. (I mean, hopefully????)
MIKU!! I was there for you and it was beyond awesome! Words can't describe some things and this is one... I had front row seats but now I want the VIP knowing your up there so close. The view shown here was almost what I saw standing up. I want to get even closer though... as much as possible. It was my first Miku concert and a dream come true! Lots of cosplayers and energy in the air. Just wonderful! It was even greater that Anime Expo was that very next week. Probably one of the few times I was happy to live in Los Angeles! And to whoever filmed this, thank you so much. I filmed as well but it wasn't near the quality as this one. It wouldn't focus right because of the lights or something but I still got some amazing video. Also - to anyone wondering if its worth going versus just watching a video? Its WORTH IT!! You can't capture some things on video and you'd only understand if you were there. The realism is outstanding. Also someone left a comment from Minnesota and how they were sad it never got close to there. I used to live there and know what you mean. But there are great round trip flights that are pretty cheap like Allegiant.. and something like this... its so worth it! Do your best to get ticekts in advance and just go!! ^_^
It was an amazing concert, with the surprise guest making it even better. Many of the songs were ones that I was hoping would make an appearance there. I have been lucky enough to have gone to every Miku Expo in los angeles so far, and plan to go to any in the future as well!!
It's still so sad that Kaito has only one song. T_T He got me into Vocaloids and I love him to bits. Even so I'm super hyped to go to Paris to see the concert this December!!!

Just sat here watching this literally crying because I've loved vocaloid for YEARS and they've literally helped me through everything, bullying my mom dying etc, but my family is so broke I had no chance of going to miku expo. Probably won't ever be able to go.. So sad.
I truly missed my calling with this concert 😭 this is definitely my era of Miku music, but I’m so happy to have been able to attend the 2024 concert and record it for the world to see.
you just need to keep track of it. I was checking like every few days for a while and after a few months they announced the tour and i got a ticket. You need to be patient and eventually that patience will be rewarded. me and my brother enjoyed it so much we're going to go to the New York and DC expo next time. If i had to guess it'll be around two years before they have another US tour.
Yo soy Anderuchis what I did was I would check the Miku expo website every now and then or if you just google Miku Expo it should come up when they announce there next tour I got my tickets off of Ticketfly they have a normal ticket and a vip ticket. They also offer either a digital or physical ticket. I went with the physical ticket because I wanted to keep it as a souvenir.
I was in the orchestra section middle three rows from the vip pit, I tried taking video too, but the view is too far for my phone to have actualy picked up miku and there was a tall person in front of me too, thanks for the video upload
When I was there I literally screamed when the screen said Tell Your World. It's my favorite song.... I was expecting that to be the final song of the encore because of the huge build up to it, and then I heard the first note of Melt right afterwards, and my heart literally burst. I straight up collapsed. It was the original song that got me into Vocaloid. I was absolutely spent. It was such an amazing night.
Vocaloid concerts have such an amazing vibe to them. Thank you for recording this. I'm so excited to be going with my friend (We're both longtime vocaloid fans) to my first one at the end of the year, in London. VIP was already all sold out by the time I booked my tickets, but I'm sure it'll be a great night regardless! If it's anything like the USA/Mexico concerts I bet it'll be wonderful.

I KNOW! I was lowkey pretty angry that they did that. I don't know if they're going to change any songs at the dallas concery tonight but we'll just have to see. Also, I think at some point during one of the concerts (dont remember which one but i've seen almost all of the ones that have been put out on disc) they used the same motions from the game. Maybe i'm wrong but i do know that they usually don't so you are correct there lol. but the reason i mentioned it is because i was thinking back on when they released ghost rule as dlc for future tone and people were getting mad that they just used the same motions from magical mirai.

y'all i'm legit crying because of gemini at 1:04:50 rn bec damn this song!!! way way back when i first read the lyrics for this song in 2010 i couldn't stop crying. it made me realize how much i loved my friends (which i had just met at the time) because they, unlike my friends from before, didn't expect anything from me. they were simply there for me whenever i needed them, whenever i needed a shoulder to cry on or a helping hand. for me who became dependent on my friends rather than my family for emotional support, this realization really hit me hard and it's all thanks to Gemini by DixieFlatline.

Edit: The experience I had was hands down, the best experience of my whole life. I took selfies with cosplayers, bought merch, and even screamed with my best friend when she was there! I went into the pit when the concert was over and that one Len cosplayer kept popping up EVERYWHERE!

This was my first ever concert, the 2018 Miku Expo that was held in Dallas TX & it was a great experience, even though I was so short that if I stood at my tip toes I could only see their head, not their body. I wish I had enough money to buy the VIP ticket, would have been so useful considering I came 8 hours early.

I went to the 2016 Expo in Dallas and didn't think it'd be too different to that one, so I didn't save money for 2018. BUT NOT ONLY DID THEY DO DOCTOR FUNK BEAT, BUT ALSO GEMINI AND SATISFACTION!!!! Definitely going to Miku Expo 2020. (I mean, hopefully????)

MIKU!! I was there for you and it was beyond awesome! Words can't describe some things and this is one... I had front row seats but now I want the VIP knowing your up there so close. The view shown here was almost what I saw standing up. I want to get even closer though... as much as possible. It was my first Miku concert and a dream come true! Lots of cosplayers and energy in the air. Just wonderful!
It was even greater that Anime Expo was that very next week. Probably one of the few times I was happy to live in Los Angeles! And to whoever filmed this, thank you so much. I filmed as well but it wasn't near the quality as this one. It wouldn't focus right because of the lights or something but I still got some amazing video.
Also - to anyone wondering if its worth going versus just watching a video? Its WORTH IT!! You can't capture some things on video and you'd only understand if you were there. The realism is outstanding. Also someone left a comment from Minnesota and how they were sad it never got close to there. I used to live there and know what you mean. But there are great round trip flights that are pretty cheap like Allegiant.. and something like this... its so worth it! Do your best to get ticekts in advance and just go!! ^_^
It was an amazing concert, with the surprise guest making it even better. Many of the songs were ones that I was hoping would make an appearance there. I have been lucky enough to have gone to every Miku Expo in los angeles so far, and plan to go to any in the future as well!!
It's still so sad that Kaito has only one song. T_T He got me into Vocaloids and I love him to bits. Even so I'm super hyped to go to Paris to see the concert this December!!!

They did On the rocks in Osaka 2018 as well. And Kaito had a song i didn't know. But my knowledge of Kaito songs is really bad.

Just sat here watching this literally crying because I've loved vocaloid for YEARS and they've literally helped me through everything, bullying my mom dying etc, but my family is so broke I had no chance of going to miku expo. Probably won't ever be able to go.. So sad.

you just need to keep track of it. I was checking like every few days for a while and after a few months they announced the tour and i got a ticket. You need to be patient and eventually that patience will be rewarded. me and my brother enjoyed it so much we're going to go to the New York and DC expo next time. If i had to guess it'll be around two years before they have another US tour.

I got my tickets off of Ticketfly they have a normal ticket and a vip ticket. They also offer either a digital or physical ticket. I went with the physical ticket because I wanted to keep it as a souvenir.

When I was there I literally screamed when the screen said Tell Your World. It's my favorite song.... I was expecting that to be the final song of the encore because of the huge build up to it, and then I heard the first note of Melt right afterwards, and my heart literally burst. I straight up collapsed. It was the original song that got me into Vocaloid. I was absolutely spent. It was such an amazing night.

Vocaloid concerts have such an amazing vibe to them. Thank you for recording this. I'm so excited to be going with my friend (We're both longtime vocaloid fans) to my first one at the end of the year, in London. VIP was already all sold out by the time I booked my tickets, but I'm sure it'll be a great night regardless! If it's anything like the USA/Mexico concerts I bet it'll be wonderful.
The Glow sticks look so cool from a distance, but look to be annoying if you are in the crowd as the block the stage.
