    1. Fit - Nothing is more important.
    2. Colour - Choose three, where two are neutral.
    3. Texture - What turns a good outfit into a great one.

I'm an artist who does character design and this actually helped me so much! I learnt a lot from watching this video. I always felt that I had to really overdo the character's fashion to make them stand out or qualify as "good design" (unfortunately its what nearly everybody preaches) but thanks to you, I've realized even simple has its own ways of reflecting charm and classiness, and that a well put outfit can look gorgeous without needing a 1000 elements on the design. Granted character design and an actual person's wardrobe are very different, but I still feel like the advice can be applied here as well.

Start off picking things that you're comfortable with but choose them intentionally. Hoodies and jeans can be a great look! Well-cut jeans and a clean, comfy hoodie is a fantastic fallback outfit and can be really versatile.
Casual might just be your style, so try to own it and make it your own. Also don't be afraid to spend a little extra! Even if the thing you pick out doesn't work for you long-term, now you know and can inform your next decision.

Something I love about your videos is that as much experience & savviness you have with fashion, you consistently remind viewers that these videos are simply "guidelines" for fashion & there is ALWAYS room for personal experimentation, flare, & ideas in one's own style. I cannot emphasize that enough!! Stylists sometimes make it seem like "this is the one way to look good!" You give guidelines, help, & rules of thumb, but encourage us to make it personal & I believe that's the ultimate purpose of fashion - expression. Keep doing what you're doing! Love your stuff!

And never cuff your pants because it's ugly as hell. This guy isn't really fashion, more of simple clothing styling
