Those were the years I loved the Cowboys. I was 7 in 1980 from Boston. But I loved the Cowboys from 80 to 86 before I went strictly Patriots. But I loved these teams and still do. And would give away 1 Patriots super bowl if I could have Super 16 with the cowboys. As a kid that would have been a dream !
This is awesome do you have the 1983 Monday night football Cowboys at Redskins, Dallas makes one of those comebacks they were famous for! Also the 1982 game Steelers at Cowboys sunday week one…. thanks so much love this stuff!
7:45 is an incredible play...i mean just look at how quickly Taylor is there to blow up that play. But Dorsett slips away and turns it into a solid run. Springs had no shot at blocking him
the refereeing in this game was terrible and killed the giants. a missed lateral deep in dallas territory, an incomprehensible missed false start, a missed obvious face mask and a punt returner getting clobbered before the ball arrived(with the ref standing right there)
God I LOVE the old CBS intros so much!
Football at its best. Cowboys had such an efficient, skilled and disciplined team between 80-86...one of those years they should've made a Super Bowl
I've been a Cowboys fan since 1975 and I totally agree with you.

Dalls
The Tony Dorsett run to get inside the 20 on the first drive was terrific.

7:40 a terrific run

Wow, had to double n triple team Randy White.
the manster!
17:59 look at Dickerson just sprint in unimpeded. 2 Giants consumed with Randy White allowed that two happen
strange to hear Sumerall calling a game with someone other than Madden or Brookshire
It was part of a tryout between Summerall and Scully who will work with Madden and for who will call Super Bowl XVI.
Scully and Madden were in Cleveland to call the Falcons-Browns game. Summerall and Madden would unite the following week.
@@Bruce12867 Scully/Madden team 1A, Summerall/Stram team 1B.
wasnt long after that Madden and Summerall were teamed
@@timburr4453 Summerall and Madden were the best to broadcast football.
51:53 now you know why the nfl has replay
I wonder how many times did Pat Summerall think to himself while calling Giants' games and watching the placekickers, "yeah, I was better."
Is Hank Steam wearing a toupee?
Do you have 1975 or 76 steelers games.

So nothings changed
@@shannonspence4725 pretty much
7:45 how did Dorsett avoid LT is beyond me
You can really see early in his career...what a problem Lawrence Taylor was.
What? No John Madden?
Worst thing that ever happened to there franchise is to be purchased by a bum like Jerry Jones
