Yo escucho esta gran obra en mi humilde pueblo Agua Fresca. A orillas del Estrecho, en Magallanes y Antártica Chilena. Y me hace salir y viajar. Saludos. Y buen día.
This piece is composed in such way that the solo violoinist barely has the time to play all the notes and stay in sync with the orchestra. With that said, Ms Samuelsen did a masterful, magnificent job. Kudos to everybody, Max Richter especially. "November" births a whirlwind of emotions in me, and when that happens, I LITERALLY start losing my breath. A masterpiece. Addendum: Ever since I've heard this piece for the first time, I've been utterly enchanted by it, and have obssessively listened to this version and the album version, comparing every note, every crescendo, the solo and the orchestra performance and how well synchronized they are, noticing the differences and obssesing about them, and finally concluding that this rendition is superior to the abum version in every possible way. Since that day, I basically wake up and go to sleep with this gem. And months and months after I've heard this out-wordly beautiful piece, I keep coming back to it. It never fails to fill me with awe and stir every fibre of my being, over and over again. And I have yet to experience it the same way twice. This, this is magnificence of the Universe put into notes. Addendum 2: Five years later, I'm still here when my soul needs comfort. This piece takes me to another universe every time, without fail.

With thousands of notes in the space of six and a half minutes, that was an astonishing performance and is technically very challenging, not to mention incredibly exposed. Just brilliant.
