What I especially love about this whole interaction is that the whole time, even after Dabi showed up, Hawks still wanted to get Twice out of there alive. It was when Twice was literally seconds away from releasing clones into the wild that he made the call and decided he had to take him out.
The first character we see Twice interact with canonically(not chronologically because that's Giran) is Dabi back in the forest arc. So the fact that Dabi was the one with the real Twice in his final moments, encouraging him, is so wild. That little high five too. Pain. His little speech to Toga is sad. And the way they changed the ED to show how sad Toga was without him. The villains aren't necessarily right in what they're doing, but the idea they're striving for isn't exactly wrong either. The destruction of the current hero society. A society that pushes people to the side if they have quirks that make them look different from other people. There's actually a group of people who hate people with heteromorphic quirks that got completely cut from the anime in S5 and kinda tied into Spinner's arc. A society that saw Toga's quirk and just said, "Ew. Gross." Instead of helping her out(granted, most of the blame on this one falls on her parents but still). A society where if you trip, the world will keep kicking you as you're down so you can never get back up. A society where a hurt and traumatized child can wander the streets with hundreds of people passing him by saying, "Oh. Someone else will take care of that." The world rejected the League. So they made sure to be there for each other. They started as a band of misfits but slowly became an actual found family. Twice thinks he ended up letting his family down again. And the worst part is, the real Twice doesn't know his clone was successful in saving Toga or Compress. He doesn't know that they aren't upset with him at all. R.I.P. Twice. You were an amazing character. A complicated villain. He would consider his days with the League to be the best parts of his life. So in that sense, you could say he was happy. R.I.P.
No shot, Dabi literally couldn't care less about Twice. Literally next episode he says the only reason he's sad for Twice's death is because he was a strong asset. Unlike most of the League of Villains, that dude has 0 sense of comraderie. Fck Dabi.
I loved how close Twice's story and motivations were basically identical to other Anime protagonist. He's basically a Midorya or a Naruto (won't give up, wants to protect his friends, blames himself for not being stronger, stronger than even he knows, etc) but he's on the Villain side.
So about Hawks’ name, Kiego Takami, last season during Deku, Bakugo and Shoto’s training arc with Endeavor, the villain who kidnapped Shoto’s brother said that he first saw Endeavor after Endeavor had captured a villain named Takami
Did he miss the part where Hawks was taking his kill shot while in the blue fire? I figured he would have had some kind of reaction to that if he saw it and it seemed like based on the way he was talking that he didn't notice hawks was about to kill twice.
The villains in BNHA are so well-written that we sympathize with them to the point where we forget they're still villains, like I totally get your reaction when Twice stabbed that hero dude.
as someone who read the manga, last season was a big disappointment but they definitely picked up the slack in this season. cant wait for later in this arc
I have been pleasantly surprised by the 2nd half of the last season and by this season. In a show that started as black and white as giving it's characters the designations of "hero" or "villain" in an official manner, to make us sympathise and maybe even cheer for the "villains" is pure brilliance (fToga, Shigaraki, and Twice). Also, Twice could have easily being a Luffy or a Gon, if only fate had favoured him. Now, he will burn the world down to protect his friends. And that dialogue in the end where he thinks who was Hawks to tell him that he was born unlucky when he was actually the luckiest guy in the world to have such friends was a gem. This dialogue reminded me of Naruto telling Tobi a similar thing when Tobi said that Naruto was unlucky to have Kurama inside of him. Also, the director missed a trick. I never realized that Hawks had finally attacked Twice for real and that these were his last moments. Anyway, MHA continues its dream run!
I mean, how can you not cry over Twice's death? Just like Hawks said, I don't think Twice was ever a genuinely bad guy. He just... ended up with the wrong crowd (even if Toga and Dabi really did actually care about him)
I dont see a lot of ppl catch it but you can see hawks about to deliver the final blow to twice emerging in Dabi's fire behind him in the background And ur not alone this made me hate hawks alot when i read this chapter as twice was my fav character in the whole show TwT'

Bro just knock him out tf
The fact that the actual Twice never got to say goodbye to Toga is absolutely tragic.

The idea they are striving for is definetly wrong but thats not to say you cant sympathize and understand how they got to where they are
love jack proved the problem with hero society with his comment on mushroom girl, literally quirk profiling 💀
@@crimson9926 my thoughts exactly lmao

@@BenganGamer If only they have as much efforts and aspirations to do good. Ohh, the things that could've been.
I cried too when Twice died. I love Hawks but Twice was also awesome and seeing his final moments with Himiko was just painful

7:50 this is the exact reason why this is my favorite mha fight, the conflict is just so nuanced you don’t know who to root for on your first watch
How did you forget Tokoyami trained with Hawks? Of course he's worried about his master..
So about Hawks’ name, Kiego Takami, last season during Deku, Bakugo and Shoto’s training arc with Endeavor, the villain who kidnapped Shoto’s brother said that he first saw Endeavor after Endeavor had captured a villain named Takami

I bawled my eyes when I saw Twice dead. I read the manga and it still hurt me as if it was something new to me..

Ahh, I see that jack also busts to midnight.
One's Justice is also a name of the vol. 26 of the manga
Hawks was the one to kill Twice, not Dabi.
This episode was pain, next one will hurt and 5th one will be PAIN
I just had to search up your channel to see this video. RUclips is just not pushing ur mha content

Yes jack gang orca has a cool character design but Mirko and Lady Nagant are on another level.
Change my mind.
I don’t think we can argue there
Lady Nagant is BEAUTIFUL like omg I love her so much
Eh no
I told you to be ready for this one, buddy
Saddest moment in the whole manga
####, ##### and ##### death and ##### near Death experience

love the intro
One of the best episodes of my hero fr

Lol sorry that Hawks had to do what he had to do
Why would you hate hawks….hawks gave twice a chance to convert but twice wouldnt listen…its his fault
Hawks give twice so many chance, he only kill twice when he have to....so you hate hawks preventing his side lose 100%?
Why hate hawks? That's really stupid
Hey, Jack has reacted to episode 4 already. But, the video is unavailable to me for some reason. Any help, anyone?
I can’t even lie, this episode made me hate Hawks..lol, Twice was my favorite, I wanna see Dabi roast that chicken.
And thus Jin is dead, first big death for now, many more to come tho
Also are you planning on reacting to the jujutsu kaisen movie? If you haven’t already seen it 🎃
Hawks knew twice couldn’t be let loose, he needed to take him out one way or another. RiP Twice
He could have knocked him out not kill him. He is supposed to be a hero
@@spiderzmbie0983 he was trying to knock him out the entire time, even after Dabi showed up and made things 100x more dangerous for Hawks

I didn't feel bad for Twice's death. He had his chance to survive, start over, but he was villain after all, so he got what he deserved
