Oh ho ho , looks like those hitboxes and level bounds are less solid than I expected, I would have thought that there is no way to get over those railings in a game without a jump button or other vertical movement abilities, but I guess some of the attack animations actually displace your hitbox upwards? I would have expected that your hitbox stays glued to the horizontal plane and the jumps are just cosmetic animations. Interesting...
I think that is because in soulslikes the hitboxes should be as exact as possible because of obvious reasons. That's why the hit box moves with the animation I guess.

Louis' Communal Gift (CG) gives +50% damage. Final Journey gives +50%. Later on you get Jack's CG which is double damage (+100%). CGs are strong, but are a double-edge sword as you know. The zweihander is a very strong weapon too. You can see they use "Dragon Lunge" with the zweihander which is the strongest weapon gift.
sorry for the late reply, but that's a result of using the block animation to cancel the dash+strong attack which is basically a back step then lunge forward
i dont like when u have an ability which makes ur overall velocity faster, it just results in spamming one button for movement. and dats annoying. like what was ur total dash presses? like 2000 i would guess. im prolly wrong.point is- must be so much fun to train for runs and spam the dash button 2 times per second. ALL THE TIME.

you gotta change inputs for air dashes. instead of holding dash you'll start holding strong attack + pressing dash

How did you get that ending? You havent repaired a single vestige, so shouldnt you have gotten the bad ending?
it's due to skipping going into successor's memories and leaving through the door, probably that's how the game handles endings

sorry for the late reply, but that's basically cancelling the dash+strong attack animation halfway through, so it doesn't consume stamina
