    Thanks for your wonderful work! Can you please explain the "se" in "se nos va a hacer tarde"?

    • @SpanishPlayground
      @SpanishPlayground  2 года назад +2

      Hi. "Hacerse tarde" is "to get late" or "to become late". So, the sentence is saying "It's going to get late on us" Hacerse is one of the many ways to translate become in Spanish. You'll hear it in many contexts. Here are a few examples: El trabajo se hizo más fácil con la práctica. Mi papá se hizo rico con su negocio. La situación se hace muy complicada. Thanks for watching our channel!

      If you turn on the subtitles, or open the transcript, you'll see all the numbers. Click on cc to activate the subtitles and then click on settings (the gear icon at the bottom right) and choose the language. You can also open a transcript if that would be helpful. To open the transcript, go to the row below the title and click on the three horizontal dots ... (next to "save", at the far right). There is an option there to open the transcript and it opens on the upper right sidebar. Let us know if you any questions!

      There are Spanish subtitles on all our videos, and English and Spanish on all the seasons of Buena Gente. We made a video in basic Spanish to show how to turn the subtitles on: ruclips.net/video/n-594Ztjk4w/видео.html Or, do this: click on cc to activate the subtitles and then click on settings (the gear icon at the bottom right) and choose the language. You can also open a transcript if that would be helpful. To open the transcript, go to the row below the title and click on the three horizontal dots ... (next to "save", at the far right). There is an option there to open the transcript and it opens on the upper right sidebar. You can toggle the language at the bottom. Let us know if you any questions!
