Wow.. judging from the comments, it's a good thing I have Premium so I never get ads... doubt I'd be able to listen otherwise, especially since I often listen to true crime podcasts while falling asleep.
Considering the quality of this channel, they have low subscribers compared to other true crime channels. It has to be all the ads. If I didn't have RUclips premium I probably wouldn't be listening.
Be the end of your story, and the trial, why would anyone believe a word King said?! How many different stories can a person tell before they are proven a liar?! 🤦♀️
Shame the Spanish cops ignored the warning given to them by the British police. Ah well at least those idiots, who voted for the own goal of Brexit, have done one good thing; our home grown British criminals no longer have EU free movement and must stay the hell home 😂😂😂😂😂
The music, especially toward the beginning as you're opening up the case... I actually had to listen to it again. It's very calming despite the darkness of this case. Awesome work once again to all of you who are responsible for creating these episodes.
I'm from Spain and Rocío's and Sonia's cases were huge here. Their cases alongside with the Alcásser Girls, Marta del Castillo and Anabel Segura's marked a generation. We do not have many random violent crimes here so when they happen they are widely covered by media. Sometimes even to vomitive extremes, like revealing private aspects of the victims' lives that are irrelevant for the cases. Rocío's mom is still insisting that Dolores Vázquez is the culprit and she even is in contact with Tony King, believing that he is innocent 🤪
@Tammy Allen I think that she is innocent and that she was misjudged by the media and the public for being homosexual and a very stoic and reserved woman. Rocío's mom also stirred the pot talking about their personal lives and using any little confrontation that they had when they were a couple to portray her as dominant and manipulative. I think that she was ashamed of being in an homosexual relationship and she said that Dolores seduced and manipulated her. I understand that she wanted someone to blame but she should have stopped when all the evidences against Anthony King were found. She has never apologised to Dolores and she maintains correspondence with King. There is an article in Spanish about how Dolores' life is still ruined 20 years later. Fortunately, Spain has evolved since then and it's a very LGTBI+ friendly country in general. My region for example is a very famous LGTBI+ holidays destination. There are still assholes but like everywhere else.
I've been living in Spain for 12 years, near where this all happened. It was one of the first things I heard about when I arrived, from another British immigrant. She said that when Sonia was murdered, the whole community was traumatised. These towns are still like extended families and I can well imagine how many people were effected by her death. So sad.
wow such an evovement..truly humanity would not be able to survive abut the incredible advancements produced by some lgbqtdfcbvd weirdos...glad you re proud of a literal non issue
That's both unbelievable and very sad. Alicia is clearly and understandably very traumatised, but it's hard to reconcile that kind of narrow minded point of view. I saw a documentary on Delores which was essentially a review of the case with a face to face interview with Delores which left me 100% convinced of her innocence. A total nightmare for all concerned except the culprit, who I believe to be Tony King.
This was definitely a complicated and lesser known case no wonder none of the other vanilla crime podcast touched on it. How a guy like King can constantly lie and expect others to believe him is beyond me
Another awesome episode, I recently started listening to your podcasts at the end of last year and I now get excited for the new episode each week :). I know you must have hundreds of cases already lined up, but the way you really delve into big cases with multiple parts, whether the Columbine High School massacre is something you have potentially considered? The multiple motives and legacy it still has over 20 years on I think would make for a great episode.
Two questions I have : First: How did Kings friend that was hypnotized have any idea that Dolores and King ever worked at the same place? That’s a very specific detail to pop up out of nowhere (especially if the police didn’t know it beforehand). Second: Didn’t the taxi driver say he saw a black SUV? Was that discrepancy ever figured out?
The first one could have been bc maybe his friend hung out at the place where King worked and maybe he could have seen her there as she was getting her stuff or maybe just passing by or even as Delores’ trial was going on, King could have said something like “oh yeah she used to be a manager at the place where I used to work” or something like that. OR the police could have already figured out that connection and planted it in his head My question is who were those two men that were showing up where Rocio’s shoes and the pool of her blood was found and why did the tags trace back to Delores? And why did she lie about that?
The idea that because there was lots of stab wounds it couldn't be king because he was just sexually into them is absolutely absurd. Have they never heard of sexual sadism?
I keep hoping that there will be a brief “announcement” video... where actual video is rolled out. I simultaneously hope that day never comes. Something about the anonymous Casefile Voice with the minimalist music and the lack of bullshit...
Casefile is probably the best true crime podcast on the internet. ❤Fantastic and detailed storytellers that keep you engaged. There's over 300 episodes in their playlist of true crime mysteries from around the world, all excellent. Subscribe to get notified of new releases and like the ones you watch to keep track, because you will probably want to listen to them all.

@katherine9109 agree!!! I never wanted to pay since I'm a cheapskate, but i blow money on stupid stuff anyway, might as well use it on something that I enjoy
Greedy? They provide an excellent professional podcast that takes much time, research, production, music and narration. They deserve to be compensated. A team of people is unlikely to work hours, week after week for nothing. Any income is dependent on ad revenue. You don't pay out of pocket to watch, and you can move your timeline bar ahead to skip though the narrated sponsor ads and skip RUclips ones. Once a channel hits about 100k subscribers it can monetize and run outside YT ads and depend less on sponsors. Ads are annoying, but its the tradeoff for free content. Radio and TV do the same.

Casefile does very intensive research , I like that.
The best on RUclips.
Appreciating the detailed research, admiring the texture of the composition, loving the narration...

Best crime narrator ever, thanks Casefile !
Excellent narration , a very nice voice as well.

I don't trust Delores.
Yup. She had to do something with it
There is not a single evidence supporting Delores involvement.. She is innocent. King is serial killer & he probably had help from Robert Graham.
