I wear this as my “daily” running shoe. Anywhere between 10-15 miles. All around a great shoe and is meant to provide some support (not a lot, some supportive shoes can’t just be “over kill”) and not destroy your feet. It’s not a competition shoe and isn’t meant for anything extremely fast pace

Agree with almost everything in video. Bought a couple of months ago, my first On shoe. Previous purchase Hoka, also my first pair of those.
Flat footed over-pronator with narrow feet. These were categorized as stability which is why I purchased online on a whim. You reference them as neutral with some stability features which is consistent with other reviews.
I like the fit and agree the uppers are good quality. Narrow heel and midsole just like I need yet decent space in toe box which I also need. In short the look and fit are perfect considering I bought having never trying on this or any other On shoe previously.
Outside of these positives this may be the hardest feeling shoe I’ve ever owned, especially in the front of shoe. Frankly I’m shocked that a shoe at this price point can be that devoid of padding yet still be relatively heavy. I still fake jog in my old Hoka’s and can’t imagine even trying to jog in this shoe. So I skipped the brief 6 runs that you had prior to retirement and went straight there. Didn’t return them, but rather made them my daily casual everyday shoes including lots of indoor walking at work or outdoor afterward. So I’d consider my whim purchase gamble a push and not a total loss.

Just bought a pair of cloudrunner watefproof for my daughter, imo they are more casual shoes for walking than running. Stiff and not light at all. She likes them because they look cool.

Thanks for this great review!! I intend to use these as mostly walking and daily trainer/errand shoes to hopefully help with foot pain when walking or standing too long. I tried these, the Cloud 5, Cloudswift, and Cloudrunner and I found all the others more narrow, this one had the wider toe box and felt most comfortable on my feet, I didn’t want to take them off.
I also compared them against the Brooks Ghost 15, Nike Pegasus (40?) & Hoka Cliffton 8 & 9, not sure how they’d compare in running, but at least in initial comfort right out of the box, the Cloudrunners were it for me.

Good review, on running should consider doing another line of running shoes without clouds , as an option! Their clouds shoes are firm and most have problem with stones !

Thanks! Check out the Cloudmonster and the Cloudgo. Both are softer feeling shoes and have mostly fixed the stone issue.

@@RunningWithDusty I saw your reviews on those shoes, both are with the new midsole design, hopefully this new flat outsole will reduce the firmness of the shoes! I like the cloudgo in orange! Best Regards from Richmond Hill, On

Thanks Dusty for the review. Just feel that ON shoes are just too firm and leave my feet feeling sore irrespective of the distance, and are incredibly uncomfortable for any kind of speed work.

I feel like if On could make softer shoes, they'd grab a lot of new customers. Have you tried the Cloudmonster yet? Much more cushioned than any other On shoe

Would this be a good daily walking/travel shoe?
