"I guess I hope I'm gonna be okay" is such an important line. The "I guess" completely changes it. When going through depression, when you are too sad to fall asleep, sometimes you don't even care if you'll be okay anymore and wow that line just stopped me in my tracks because I can feel that from the past. This song echoes my struggles with depression so perfectly and while she may be talking about heartbreak, it means so much to hear about those feelings from someone else. Growing up and time/memories hurt unbearably sometimes, being afraid of what's inside your head, and I know for me are a big part of my anxiety/depression. Thank you Alessia for lending your voice. It means more than you could ever know.

1. Type of music you like doesn't make you quirky relatable or different.
2. We have great artists who are talented in this generation. You're just listening to boring radio singles that are meant to be catchy and for easy listening, instead actually going to hear the artist's work outside of commercial success.
3. Just because an artist decides to show their body doesn't mean they're doing it for views. They are proudly expressing their sexuality and way they want to.

I remember when I was depressed everything my friends and family said or did to me made me cry. I was angry all the time, I have trouble talking to anyone because I felt alone and I felt like nobody understand what I was feeling, it got to the point where I cried every night before going to bed. Then I started to questions myself "did I do anything to deserve what was happening to me" but I later on realized it wasn't my fault or anyone fault, I just needed to talk to people that make me feel comfortable and happy. I am happy and grateful for all the support I am getting now. If you are reading this Idk what you are going through but I hope you get some help soon and make yourself happy because you are beautiful and you deserve to be happy.
