  • Interview with Tony Parsons, July 2019. Questions by Devasetu (Jetzt-TV, Tony Parsons interview02). Question: What ist the essence of what you are saying in your talks to the people who are coming to you?
Answer: The essence of the open secret communication is that it attemps to illuminate the nature of nonduality…
Q: What you understand by nonduality?
A: Nonduality is only a term, which points to that, which can‘t be known, which points to the everything and the nothing…
Q: And the people are only forms? …
A: … Many people in the world are sure or believe that they are real and that is a great dilemma. There is nothing that is real, everything is only an appearance.
Q: And this illusion has fallen away in your system?
A: Yes, only aparently, because it was never real, there wasn‘t a real something to fall away…
Q: This has happened at once or by and by.
    A: It‘s timeless…it doesn‘t happen in time. ...
    Q: Was there some cause?
A: No, there is no cause...it doesn‘t really happen, so it doesn‘t need a cause. …
Q: To be in your presence…
A: I don‘t have any precence, I don‘t have anything, there is no one …
Q: Can you give something to the people?
A: There is no I, there is nothing to give … there is only everything …
Q: In your talks... you are a kind of destroyer?
    A: Absolutely. … I‘m known as a terminator. …
Q: If we talk about something it is always a story?
    A: Yes. …
Q: What can you say to the sentence „Nothing ever happens.“
    A: Absolutely. …
Q: This fullness has the character of love?
A: This fullness … is unconditional love … - and much more.

It is not short of astonishment that Tony Parsons was able to compress so elegantly in modern tongue the entire Sutra of unadulterated Buddhism.

Tony says, "all that is, is boundless energy." It may appear that way from a purported perspective within the framework of the seeming or apparent realm. Energy is vibration, it ebbs and flows, comes and goes, never stopping to be, never is it present. Presence, reality, that which is all there is of all there is, is not energy, as it is not frequent, it simply IS! Of course, words can't really do the job in this apparent scenario. What is All is utterly ineffable.

Today i.e., 17th July 2024 at around 10pm metaphorically the lights switch off, and the understanding dawned, nothing ever happens. However, paradoxically for this individual body-mind things happen. Happening & time by large is limited to subjectivity which inherently & actively functions to verify and posit something is happening but from the one substance's perspective it is what it is, it is pure being without the notion of what it becomes, it simply is.
For water there are no waves, but for the limited human-individual-subjectivity there's waves, and the ocean.

Can someone explain what the purpose of these talks are? It's simple and simplistic all at once. On one level it's just a riddle whose answer is that there's no answer because this is all that there is. On the other level it's a rationality for accepting that you will be nothing when you die by saying that you're nothing now and never were anything. Of course the same reality can be described accurately in different ways depending on the perspective. I just don't get why people keep asking this guy questions based on his perspective when the answers are so predictable and simple. Why not go do something fun instead?

    • @mattblah3773
      @mattblah3773 2 месяца назад

It always puzzled me Tony and others like him fail to mention that there are two basic Realities or if they did, I missed it..! .......One is The Absolute Reality where nothing ever happens ,the other is the relative reality when everything happens....the problem for me starts when the one speaking is in the relative reality.......do they really know by experience of the Ultimate reality or are just pretending they know. ?
Papaji states in his book "The Truth is" "Nothing ever existed is the Ultimate Truth" which really made my headache....until the two realities were explained by an Adviata Monk...It depends on from which reality they are speaking from....but it must be genuine, how can we tell ,is it just yet another idea, another concept they are repeating from another mind ? this is dangerous another form of Dogma no better or different from all the others.

If nothing has any meaning then why the manifestations in the first place. The evolutionary road to life, let alone intelligent life, is a complicated process and all manifestations (be they apparent or not) are bound by apparent laws of physics which implies apparent purpose. This boundless energy he speaks of is apparently bound by its own laws in the space of its own manifestations and are not random acts of a maverick nothing........for what if it has no purpose or meaning?

  • @calwendreamkeeper3556

That does not sound like the voice of the True Self.
“At the first level on the path, he saw mountains as mountains and rivers as rivers. On the second level of the path, he saw that mountains are not mountains and rivers are not rivers. And at a third level, he saw once again mountains were mountains and rivers were rivers.”
That all sounds like spiritual bypassing, and I am unsure that the seeker here sees the mountains and the rivers once again, it is instead quite lost in the formless.
I think there is a form of awakening here (which is a simple natural process once the illusion of the ego is realised) but the embodiment of the vision and the true awakening of the heart does not seem to have happened yet, the human being has been left behind, after all its good service to the cause of consciousness :)
Neo-Advaita as generally understood in the west is, without a cautious approach, a dangerous one way ticket to nihilism. After being completely absorbed with our egos it is easy to completely go the other way and completely reject anything which has to do with the form and the substance but that is still duality.
Awakening is not a major station in the evolution of consciousness on this planet, embodiment is, the spirit made flesh as it's been described.

Problem is with everything you’ve written is that it’s just a theory or a story just like anything else. You don’t know objective reality you just claim to, whereas in neo-advaita the claim is that no one knows objective reality. Why would the “voice of the true self” sound like a particular way? It’s due to what you’ve learned and what your particular spiritual practice is. Also you’re taking what tony has said here as prescriptive, as an instruction. It’s not saying everything is meaningless therefore go do something, it’s saying everything is unfolding.

The only aspect perceptible to the unenlightened is the one in which individual phenomena have a separate though purely transitory existence within the limits of space-time. The other aspect is spaceless and timeless; moreover all opposites, all distinctions and 'entities' of every kind, are here seen to be One. Yet neither is this second aspect, alone, the highest fruit of Enlightenment, as many contemplatives suppose; it is only when both aspects are perceived and reconciled that the beholder may be regarded as truly Enlightened. i think the notion of time is very important. He says there is no real time, only appearance. My notion is different.
We live here to resolve time distortions (in this planet and this system solar). This time distortions put us in differents bubble of times that leads us to feel as separate individuals while it's just thoughts , not natural conscius impressions of truth. Time is biologycal and psychological, but the psychology is manipulated by powerfulls entitys on this special planet because it's the price of the universe (it's a galactic seed planet, she has 200 womb chakras that's unique in the all universe, habitually the most is 4 womb chakras). You stop the psychology, the idea of i you resolve a knot due to time. I is a state, a signature frequency of existing reality and not a fixed identity. It can take itself for a form, but is not limited to this concept of form. In fact form is a great vehicule, and we can dance the changing of forms. the time of our cloks is artificial, a social convention that has no living universal truth behind it, a manipulation of our mind, as is the patriarchy and other things.

I have often wondered how much of this kind of talk (and I don't just mean Tony - there are plenty that parrot this) is deliberate obfuscation or does it arise from a genuine incapacity to be of any real help?
I think most would find these non dual sermons quite paralysing.
For anyone that is lost or confused after having listened to this or similar :
It is true that very little can be said that's of any real help.
Understanding, spiritual or intellectual, is not the key. (it may be a hindrance)
What you are looking to do is taste/grok the actual reality of yourself directly just for a nanosecond.
If you are a seeker then SEEK.. really
I mean really TRY with all your heart to get a direct taste of the "feeling" of yourself
Take this seeking energy and turn it back upon itself to find its source (the actual REALITY of that (not some intellectual understanding)
    What am I? Really
What does it feel like to be here?
What is that.. to be "here"
You know you are here? Right?
    You can't deny it?
Now what is it that makes that impossible? (to deny you are here)..
    Go there with your attention
At some point you will get a conscious glimpse
At that point you are basically done..
You now know where to "look"
The glimpses will keep happening until all fear misery dissatisfaction, the whole feeling of trying to get something, the search itself come to an end.
What you are left with is what you have always wanted -your like exactly as it is (minus the fear and it's effects) - very ordinary and at the same time a gift beyond description.

Gary Deyter The teaching isn’t meant to help “anyone”. Everything is already perfect, even illusions and ignorance.
Who is it that can’t get the point? Who is it that needs help and is stuck?

Cooper Roberts That which appears to be confused (or is playing a game of hide and seek of sorts). So that It wakes up to its reality or “finds/realizes” what It truly is. Illusions need to be looked at and seen as unreal. The seeker needs to realize it is searching for what it already is, which is everything. These people can’t see reality and need pointers to it, which is what teachers give. Parson seems to dismiss the seeker as nonexistent, which it is, but how does that help people who can’t see through the illusion of personhood?

Gary Deyter Why do they need pointers or help? What’s wrong with living in illusion? The nondual world seems to believe that being unenlightened is less preferable to being enlightened. But that’s impossible because an “unenlightened person” living in ignorance is absolutely perfect as is...see what I’m sayin?

Nihilism at its best with a very poor level of practical wisdom. If Tony had the choice to sleep either on a bed of nails or a comfy bed which one would he choose? We can guess. Pain is real enough, even when "nothing is real"!
Another little comment not related to Tony, as I don’t know him personally but I am always amazed to see that so many individuals who are still struggling to stabilise their human personality, with a very poor level of individuation / individualisation and general cohesiveness of their energies are so desperately trying to “awaken”. As if awakening was going to solve all their already existing psychological disorders. That’s probably why we end up up with so many confused and confusing self appointed “spiritual teachers?”. Nowadays I am mainly relying on my dog to get back to what really matters.

I agree with everything Tony Parsons says except that it must be able to be known because you are non-duality it can't be known by the mind-body or personality, and everything simply Rises just as it does it is non-duality being any given thing or non thing pairing just the way it does. There's no one who knows and yet you are non-dual Shining as what appears always and what more specific can appearance be then the central figure that protects the universe through its own senses and opinions beliefs Concepts or rather judgments, !?nothing's happening, exactly the way it appears. We could call it life, or a dream but we should probably do that within the context of what is obviously occurring, apparently, in the moment. The words that that is a dualistic way of seeing things can occur!. But whoever would say it would be, either living in a conceptual framework and judgmental teaching based on their own interpretation or spontaneously speaking from the present moment in which non-duality, rains! I don't want to be clever. And yet I'm doing the certainty of anyone is apparently, simply what arises! I want to admit that there's a problem in that I'm not able to dictate my words properly. Every time I turn around these words are being scrambled after I say them and review them I can only get a couple words out at a time. It's just strange thing that happened, from time to time, I apologize for the inconvenience. I'm willing to clarify my statements if need be. Otherwise oh, I absolutely love Tony Parson videos hahaha

The world is said to be existent as it is perceived in ordinary consciousness, but to be non-existent as it is lost in super-consciousness. Knowing the nature of the world, the man of Knowledge is quite unconcerned with it. ASTAVAKRA SAMHITA
