Miss your videos greatly. You're probably the best bird reviewer I've watched. Your realistic of the difficulties without being preachy and high and mighty. Half the other reviewers act like they're the only people worthy of owning a parrot, you help make potential/current parrot owners more knowledgeable.
I second this. I don't even have a pet parrot yet, but your review videos are among the best of their kind I've come across and have been very helpful. Life outside of RUclips is a thing, but if or when you get a chance to make more videos, we'd love to see them! :)
You made the ABSOLUTE best guide to anything bird with your channel. Thank you! I hope one day you decide to come back, even for 1 off episodes every now and then. Your personality and video quality is so awesome. Thank you again!
You barely added any new videos. Your last video was on October 6, 2022. You say you want to review every parrot species and you aren't doing your goal. You have upload a video soon!
I agree with Marjie, they're pretty similar. I would read up on a variety of Conures too as it will give you an idea of ways their personalities can swing as well.
I wouldn't recommend Jenday conures. They are extremely loud if you want a conure, a green cheek might be okay. But, I would generally speaking avoid them.
Okay, I watched allll your videos. Coro, you are missed! I LOVE your videos! Can we have some more, pleeeeeze? :) I hope you're going great!!!! Your reviews are the BEST!
I’m a professional novelist, not quite the same as a RUclipsr, but I’ve experienced a lot of burnout throughout my 10 year career, having just recovered from another bout this summer. It can be very stressful producing content and dealing with fickle algorithms and opinionated followers, all while you’re investing a lot of money, time, and passion for dubious results. I’ve had years where I’ve made a quarter of a million and years where I’ve made less than 10k, and not in the order one would hope. What I’ve had to come to terms with was that writing was my passion, and I had to keep doing it, whether the fans and money were there. If I don’t write, I’m never as happy as when I am writing. And I’ve found that when I do write consistently, I have consistent success. All that is to say, I hope you guys are doing what makes you happy and what you’re passionate about. If it’s not RUclips, then you do you and don’t let anyone stop you. But if it was RUclips, then you gotta get back to it, even if it’s just uploading videos of the birds like Parrot Town. Your channel is top notch within its niche. Wishing you both bright things in the weeks to come. ❤
Please come back 😢 I love your channel and content! I’m researching for my future bird and your channel is the most informative🥺 also your birds are ADORABLE 🤩
which pet bird is best to get. I have had experience with budgies, finches and Senegal parrot. I loved the Senegal parrots but they died and we ran out from where I was from. The store I am going to adopt a bird has Indian ringnecks, and Cockatiels.
The Critter Nation cage makes a good stackable option for small birds that need more space as it is 36x24x24. Its also a great choice for disabled birds due to the fact that all the bars are horizontal. It is easy to navigate and has 2 big swing out doors. Not to be confused with the Ferret Nation cage which has vertical and horizontal Bars and wider bar spacing
This channel is very very underrated... I saw many channels not talking too much got 100k+ subscribers But this man explaining everything but only 13K subscribers lol .. not fair man
GOD DAMN! this caique XD. It is occupying my ADHD mind XD thanks for the advice man u made bird petting really easy man. honestly, this is way better than viewing boring websites. (unless it is yours .,. )
I bought a chain toy for my green cheek conure, not checking the large loop sizes, he got his head in the loop, if I wasn't there, I dread to think the worst, but I threw the toy away. Have a good day from England 🏴
I went to the bird store yesterday and a Senegal parrot loved me a lot. I was wondering, if you could make a video about them whenever you can. Thanks. I miss your videos.
Glad you are back! I have a 17 year old Su Conure named Sunny (of course) and deliberated for a year or more about getting another. I hunted for ages for a Jenday. Couldn't find one unless I traveled out of state and people whom would sell one was 1,200 - 1500. Travel with that cost was a no go. 5 weeks before Thanksgiving one showed up at Pet Smart. Yes I know not to support them in this way. So I ignored the bird but when I came in to get supplies for our Schnauzers and Sunny he was still there and screaming all the time. I told the store clerks he is not a 'Fancy Conure' rather a Jenday. They had no idea of course but knew he appeared very unhappy. Fast forward to right near black friday I came back into the store and he was still there. I asked if anyone was ever interested? They said some but the noise turned them off. They said most animals go on sale on Black Friday. I told my spouse about this and we said we would get him if there was a discount. There wasn't! We even went when the store opened. Worst Black Friday 2022! We went home and I couldn't stop thinking of him being in that environment. My spouse said let's go get him. He is soooo sweet! We got soo lucky. He mildly steps up and is so gentle and not nippy like my Sun. I'm so grateful 🙏!
I used paper towels for my cockatiels but, they started biting it a lot. I used budgie sand now and they are not as interested as they were before in biting the sand
Hey man love your vids As this is the last video you uploaded i hope to get e reply here 😅 So, i saw a white eyed conure and am really interested in buying it. Unfortunately there aren’t many videos about them So can you advise me whether or not i should get one P.s this is the first pet i am ever going to own 😅
Get ready to lose some ears, but conures in general are great birds. I would watch all my videos on other conures as white eyed conures will sit somewhere in between those
Depends on your type of family. Is everyone familiar with birds or have y'all never touched birds in your life? Experience and commitment will dictate the type of species, I would think
please don't shake your parrot around like that! Yes, it looks cool, but ever heard of "shaken baby syndrome"? You're potentially giving your bird concussion there by accident with the way you're shaking it there! I know you mean no harm, but seriously, think about what's happening to it's little brain inside it's skull!. The brain is a solid organ, surrounded by hard bone, with a very thin layer of fluid separating the 2 & absorbing minor impacts, but when you shake it around in the way you are, the brain is hitting the hard skull repeatedly, causing bruising & swelling of the brain. It's the same as with babies, sure, they might love the bouncing around at the time, but long term it can be deadly! I really can't watch it! Too distressing for me, having had personal experience with this issue
I've fostered/rescued all types of birds. Budgies, Cockatiels, Conures, Cockatoo, Parrotlets, poicephalus, ringneck ... etc etc. Your information is not correct. Mirrors, for example, are excellent toys. My GoldCap Conure, Barbie, loved her mirrors, but she also loved me. I agree with you on the ropes, the nests. I do not feed my birds fresh anything. I don't agree with that. Seeds, pellets, nuts, dried fruits. The cages thing also ... is not correct. You do not want to get large cages for your parrots. Large spaces scare birds, and stress birds out. My Conure loves her 18 X 18 X 29 cage. Playstands ... I love them, I've had many, Barbie prefers to be on me, or her cage. Toys ... Barbie loves bells, shredding toys, plastic toys, wooden toys. I have several in her cage that she destroys all of the time. Anyway, you really need to do more research before you start making videos like this. What suits your birds, might not suit other people's birds. You shouldn't tell people what to do. Let them decide for themselves. Don't confuse people. Don't force people. Let them decide for themselves.
What youre saying is not correct! Mirrors usually confuse birds, of course they seem to love their mirror but it also makes them frustrated and confused because they think it’s another bird! And mirrors quite often make birds aggressive, they definitely make my birds aggressive. And I’m happy for you that your bird loves to be in a small space but mine DON’T. They love flying and doing their thing in as much space as possible. I have one pionus that is very calm and be doesn’t use his space as much, but I’m happy that he still has enough space available to climb around and find out new toys and places in his cage when he wants to. Congratulations with your birds that like mirrors & small cages, but it should NOT be advised so I agree with the video-maker. Obviously you ALWAYS have to look at every and each individual bird to see what suits them best. But shouldn’t advice things that are generally/usually bad. And how can you advice against fresh food??? Fresh food is the best food ever!
Thanks for fostering birds. Most bird owners tell me to not use mirrors cause it makes them hormonal. For cage size, I think there’s a little truth to what you said. If the big cage is empty the bird will probably be stress, but if it’s filled with toys and perches, it should be fine. Plus, this man’s video is just his opinions from his experience, so you don’t need to think he claiming everything he say is facts.
Its great that you foster birds but your information is incorrect mirrors are really bad for birds they do not understand its a reflection and frustrates them especially in hormonal season also they need fruit and veg and like he said the bar space is important they may get stuck in the bars i think maybe you should do some more reserch they will bite there own foot of if they get stuck in any kind of rope string bird tricks is one of the best channels on here they are proper bird trainers and everrything he says in this video they would tell you the same i do not know if you watch them david and jamileigh if not maybe check them out at the end of the day there your birds and you know them best every bird is different hes not telling people what to do just giving advice
@@Marijemarijee if you go on to American Avian Veterinarian their articles supports everything that @Five's A Flock with Coro says. What are other things you recommend for first time parrot owners?
Not a reccomendation. But I was wondering if you could do a review on Senegal Parrots?
For you to come back😭
Come back!!!

I think information about sun conures will be very similar to information about jendays
I agree with Marjie, they're pretty similar. I would read up on a variety of Conures too as it will give you an idea of ways their personalities can swing as well.
