Thanks for making this video. Tryin to get my moms old 240 goin again after sitting for 12 years. All without her knowing. Should make a great supprise for her.
@@zcarguide I have stumbled upon an issue. No spark. If I ground the negative side of the coil there it's spark, but not when actually cranking. I think the issue may be in the distributer. If I remove that to clean will I screw up all the timing?
@@rainbowdashieness I do think you will have to reset the timing after rebuilding the distributor. Wish I had good info on that but I have only disassembled one in one of my videos for the L24 rebuild.
Just stumbled on your videos. I'm going to use them as a guide to getting mine back together, since they came completely torn down in boxes! Thank you very much for posting, and I don't understand why you don't have several thousand subscribers.
I watched your video and the one part I wanted to see was what size are the nuts that are holding the carburetor on the manifold and how did you remove the bottoms ones. Very hard to get to.
Because the way the linkage is installed, I believe you have to remove them at the same time as shown in the video. Also, this is a video in a series I did on carbs, the next video shows the disassembly, cleaning, and rebuilding process: ruclips.net/video/8WHK2hHnNbE/видео.html

I know I am pretty randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released movies online?
@Alden Jamal Lately I have been using flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Jedidiah Pablo Yup, I have been watching on FlixZone for since march myself :)

At 5:03 you remove a hose from the manifold, this might be a dumb question but what is that hose?
That is the PCV hose, it goes from the engine block to the PCV valve on the balance tube (where you see me removing it from)
Bro you just saved my life
XD you didnt show how they come apart! i only want to take off the rear. do they just slide apart from each other?
