Always great to look back on when remembering home. I loved cranhill till the day I had to leave. Brutal trying to get any pics or vids of my building bellrock path. Cheers mate great vid.
@@Bawbags48 No worries, I might of had some photos of the Greg , but I was too busy getting chased by many of the Cranhill gangs in the late 70s! On my way home to Ruchazie!😂😂
I missed just about all the gang activity in Cranhill David , I got a 🛵 in 64 then a 🏍️ & finally a 🚗 which took me away from the area & gangs other than going to the Rollerina @ the Denniston Palais where the 💩bags came to cause trouble. 50+yrs on I still have a strong affinity to ye olde scheme 🤠
Can anyone remember any of the staffs names I remember Mr Mulligan,English, .Mrs Chapman,Music, Mr. Kerr History,I think. Mrs McDonald Modern Studies., Mr Travis,Biology,Mr Boyle Chemistry, Mr Coyle Physics.
Teachers I remember from the Greg- Mr Reid PE , wee stocky Rugby player, was sh@ging one of the female PE instructors at the time. Mr.Kelly- English, stayed in Castlemilk. And right wee bad b@stard of a physics teacher, his name escapes me, he was a football coach at Queens park and thought he was a hard man.

I stayed at 7 skerryvore place but technically that street doesn't exsist anymore. When it was being knocked down and everyone was to move there was ten of us living there and the council kept offering two or three appartment houses but my mum stuck it out for three years while alll the neighbours moved away and all the tenements round about us had moved out. She wone though and ended up getting a five apartment
When were the Monach Rd shops pulled down? I remember being at shops that remind me of the ones at Monach Rd, that would’ve been in the 90’s. Any help would be appreciated 👌🏻
