I got D.J. Lagway in the portal on my first dynasty and moved him to rb because I had two stud qb's already. He was a 95 receiving back and won the Heisman lol.

This info will be hella useful if EA ever bothers to fix this game. Also, I figured out why hard sell kept switching to soft sell. If you switch back with L1 to double check his deal breaker after clicking on hard sell, it goes to soft sell almost 100% of the time. If you just push circle before you push L1, it seems to work every time. I have an athlete qb I'm recruiting right now that has 97 speed and 92 throw power. Hopefully his throw power will advance after I get architect unlocked.
Yup figured this out early on. Now I use it to my advantage; I'll go in looking for the trio for the Hard Sell, but when I find more than one pitch combo I'll switch to a different window and back so it switches to Soft Sell.

I’m pretty sure all the green gem or bust determines is the development trait and abilities. Green means impact or elite with good abilities and bust is just normal development with regular or no abilities I think.
In the preseason, go to their playercard and edit them. You can then change their position. This works for anyone who's a generated player. This also allows cross training during the off-season and then you can move them back during the preseason. But obviously you have a to get a year or more into the future before this works for your whole team.

This is one of, if not the best recruit I have uncovered since game launch. I'm currently in a super tight battle with Oregon for the commit, I've been his #1 up until Oregon started coming for him in Wk.6, I'm about to advance to Wk.9 and Oregon is slightly ahead at the moment 😬😳😨😰

I had a 5 star QB athlete. I reshirted him then switched him to RB he went up to 93 overall RS Freshman year. I had a Free Safety, I started him freshman year then I moved him to CB and he went up to 88 overall in his Sophomore year.
I’ve had success as a small school just doing the depth chart myself maximizing the best overall per position. I increased fatigue to 80 and my auto subs favor getting out at 85 and coming in at 93 so I don’t really see those overused guys getting hurt. My starting LT is 86 but he’s a second string TE at 91.
if you make an online dynasty, you can sort by position at position changes in off season, then you can change the athletes to whatever pos and it shows their overall. has to be online dynasty tho at the moment
I feel like depth chat limits what player can actually play. How do you play players out of position? Do you need a certain coaching ability? My backup RB got injured for the season and I had a weak backfield cuz I couldn’t move a receiver to play RB
I found multiple wr that I played at CB and you can change the position following year after recruiting I suggest redshirting for now unless you need them
Dumb question. When you get an athlete, when do you change them to their new position? Before or after their freshman year? I feel like I missed where I can change their position when they are in my roster during the first year. I can change them when they start their second year.
Bro if u do your dynasty online. You can change your ath like you use to on the offline dynasties. It's a glitch after they did the update. They suppose to fix it but until then just run online dynasties. And you should be good.
Idk why they had to change it with this last patch. in my first dynasty early on I was able to assign athletes manually at the beginning. Now I gotta make a note somewhere in case they auto assign...swear these folks tryna make me break out a spreadsheet 😂
Are you no longer able to go to position changes at the end of the year and go right on the depth chart and then click X/Sqaure to manually filter the roster by athlete? I know they didn’t have the position ATH as an option on the tab if you hit your trigger.
I’ve noticed that the OL athletes never seem to fit anywhere except OL without taking a huge hit to overall. Same with DT’s Also, you can change their position from their player card. But you have to back out to find them in the new position to see if they’re good enough. And sometimes when you change them back they somehow lose overall. 🤷♂️
@@alexbriggs671 There are “athletes” in both categories. You’d think at some point an “athlete” you found as a left guard would be able to switch to a Defensive tackle and be pretty good. I’ve yet to see it though. I think most people understood what I was saying.
After draft results and it says “change position” you can sort position column to athletes and it will tell you which position they have the highest rating in.

When you're in position changes sort by Position and then you'll see all your athletes. From there you can change their position and see all their overalls.
You can by going to position change, go to the page with the entire roster. You can sort by position and athletes will be at the bottom with a starting position of kick returner

I have 3 qbs coming in and I need one, 98, 97 and 87. Im def moving to an Rpo system next year so I want my backups to be 🔥. But that speed at receiver is crazy

I figured out a way you can change your incoming prospects positions in the offseason. Some of yall might not like it but it worked for me. Lmk if yall want me to break it down. It’s not hard at all.
My defense is full of ATH. The only position I’m not taking ATH is DT, all the other positions are ATH. More versatile in my opinion and even if my OVR are about 85 def. They play like fucking dog 💪🏼

yessir in my online dynasty I've got a 5 star WR thats 6'6 93 speed coming in to play TE next season.
I got a 6'6 wr with 93 speed and 99 jumping was thinking of moving him to te but he is only 215
I did this. Only problem is he has a hard time making contested catches which is annoying for a TE. Nobody can cover him man to man though

I'm year 2 with costal. Got the 9th class with a 5* and numerous 4*s. You can still get the big fish as a small school. Keep trying ❤❤

I played a CB at WR (Q Drake) at UH, sometes he drops but if he catch he got RAC ability

You should make an online dynasty that fixes the issue with changing positions

Depending what offense you run, using a fast TE at FB is a waste. Just play him as your receiving TE

That doesn’t work post-patch. You need to keep track of your athletes, redshirt them, and wait till the next off-season until it’s patched.
