I was lucky enough to have 3rd row at the Beacon theater to see Rainbow AFTER the Rising masterpiece album. I was devastated to see a beach boy shirt, DA haircut Graham Bonnet - who had a powerful voice- but his look killed me. RIP Ronnie.

Yes he did because Rainbow was losing money and the bills were coming out of his pocket.

I was not and am not a fan of Bonnet. That said, DownToEarth is a pretty good record
