Hey Thanks, but unfortunately the chapters for all my videos stopped working last week because youtube gave me a warning and removed one of my videos :( I'm super annoyed about it! Another youtuber mentioned it happened when they got a warning and the chapters didn't come back until they appealed. Unfortunately, youtube instantly rejected my appeal and don't seem willing to take another look :(
@@PinkDraconian Thanks, I hope so too! Honestly I don't really care if they put back the video, it was over 3 years old and terrible audio quality lol. I'm more annoyed about the chapters feature being disabled (as you know these take time to prepare) + me having a permanent warning, so it says my channel be deleted after 3 strikes. I asked how they can say something is not educational when I literally gave the exact same demo to undergrad + MSc students at a top UK university, it's insane!! Hopefully they will say it was a mistake or at least explain to me why it was not allowed so I can avoid getting banned. I worry about the future of infosec though if YT begins censoring content so heavily + expelling security researchers >.

Hey, I love the walkthrough. I was getting really frustrated because I couldn't figure out why my script kept failing because there were no core files being generated. I was using Remnux and found out that the core files 1. not enabled (ulimit -c) and 2. they are not saved to the local directory (/proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern)

Ahhh I had this before, think it was due to permission issues, e.g. binary running as root (or the python script, can't remember now xD)
