First Person Train Ride - Cities Skylines Rail Journey

Using the First Person Camera Mod, I recorded a rail trip through my city that I created using Cities Skylines. The sound design is built mainly from sound effects I recorded on a ride on my own local metro. I hope the journey is realistic, particularly through my use of custom signs. I love that the trainstops aren't on the main track, but with "bushavens" so faster trains can still pass.

Hey, I use Procedural Objects mod. Took me a while to work it out but found these blank signs which also come with photoshop files you can download and customise, then add as a texture within PO. steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1919670453

It's all through mods - the speed limits I set with Traffic Manager. The acceleration / deceleration of the train is - I think - controlled by 'Improved Public Transport' mod

Hi I don’t use a sound mod -
I take the screen recordings into editing software and then build the sounds from scratch. I recorded the train sounds on my city’s metro/subway system and found the others on freesound.org

I'm sorry but trams work around the city and trains work city to city so this should be a tram not a train

There are some places where trains operate within a city, such as in London. The service in the video is fairly realistic for this style of route, heavy rail with an average speed of around 40mph and stations every 2-4 minutes along the route.
