This is so positive to hear about your experience at a UK hairdressers catering for us UK naturals. I am in desperate need of a trim but since moving out of London I cannot justify paying ridiculous prices so I will wait until I'm in London for Christmas and pay a visit to Purely Naturals. It will give me a chance to visit the new Westfield since I moved from SE just as they were almost completing it. Beautiful hair by the way.
I've been using the curls unleashed curl defining creme for about a month and this is honestly the best moisturizer/styler since I switched from Miss Jessie's Buttercreme. I love how it smells and my curls are well defined. No white flakes whatsoever. Good on wet or dry hair.

I get my hair cut there as well. I live in Greenwich, really worth the trip. Lots of buses go there from Stratford tube station.

I used ms. jessie's buttercreme too in the past but have since gotten rid of the products that have petroleum in them. Curls unleashed didn't work well for me (and reeked like a relaxer) but I LOVE shea moisture curly souffle. Have you tried it? all natural and smells yummy...well IMO:)
I've been back one other time. I prefer doing my own hair. As much as I enjoyed the experience I feel like with a lot of things I can probably do it better myself.

OOPS! I actually have the curl enhancing smoothie and NOT the souffle. Haven't tried it. Glad to hear you like it too. I may try their gel if it doesn't flake:)

hey! love the hair i recently just started going natural but i am a exchange student from the US and i dont know where to go or how to manage it will they help me there? and is it super expensive my hair is struggling and i cant go back to the US until school is over=(
Shi-Kiya Miller so sorry for the late reply. I am not sure where you're based but there are lots of places in the UK - especially the main cities. Any black hair shop should supply a decent amount of products. If you're looking for a salon, go into the local barber shop and ask. They always know! :)

Gigi M I am not sure. I think there is actually a general hairdresser qualification and then you may need additional qualifications for black hair - but I'm not sure.
