It hurts because he was going to take the role captain America was feeling once Chris Evans left hence why he’s literally the first avenger to walk out the portal
@@Basstyle1 Don't be rude. But yes, you're right. It's strange, though; no matter what reaction I watch, the audience is always more or less silent when that army appears.
Yes.. opening night. No spoilers. My theater was straight up LIVE! We literally thought Cap was walking to his death, then Sam came in on the radio.. that was it bruh
I cried in the theater, I tear up a little bit each time still. But I recently got through re-watching all 22 movies leading up to this one with my daughters, who only recently showed interest (my oldest is 9). I didn't spoil anything and they had pure reactions to each movie. I did my best to reinforce scenes that would later become callback references, such as Cap's elevator scene, any infinity stone reference, and I casually would try to make sure they remembered that Tony said "I am Ironman." at the end of the first movie. I also explained that, after the first Avengers movie, many people were a little upset that Cap DIDN'T say "Avengers Assemble", and then explained the joke again after Age of Ultron, where he almost said it. When the moment finally came in Endgame, she visibly tensed up after "Avengers...", knowing he was about to finally get to say it. She is normally pretty quiet, but she cheered along like everyone in this video when he said "...assemble." I wept. WEPT. I thought I was happy to experience this moment for myself, but my god, sharing it with my daughters, particularly my oldest, with no spoilers or trailers, was probably the most emotional moment I've had since she was born. Now whenever I watch this, it ruins me all over again. Probably for life. Worth.
I hadn’t really been the marvel super fan like I am now when I saw this. I didn’t fully understand “on your left” until I did all the movies in a row. This is the Most epic movie moment EVER
Took my kids to see this when it came out in a packed theater.. They were amazed by the audience reaction.. This must have been what it felt like when people saw Star Wars for the 1st time in 77.
this is the best reaction because they were thoughtful enough to quiet down for Cap to deliver that classic line instead of shouting over it. Just wish they left the part with Toney sitting up as he watched Pepper do her super hero landing in the anniversary present he gave her and antman, hulk and rocket arriving. still this is by far the best of all the reactions, fans not posers
I feel like many of these opening night reactions never gave Ant-Man's appearance much love lol When everyone else shows up - BIG cheers Ant-Man busts through the rubble - yay...
I've never been to an opening night of a film as emotional as this one. Just the absolute joy all throughout the theater during this scene was.. unreal.
I will always come back to these clips. Hearing the audience reaction is just as brilliant as the movie itself. Always bring a smile to my face and a lump to my throat. A truly historic moment in film.
time travel doesnot erase the momory thos, a better alternative is to have a person hitting youon the brain the you could partially lose momery to rewatch the avengers
The greatest scene in cinema history and I don't care what anyone else. Nothing comes close to 10 years worth of movies and build up. And I was there for each one.
Such an amazing theater experience. Pretty much tied for me when I went to the opening of “Return of the King”. I had never been in such a crazy environment at the theater. Never heard cheering like that before. It was something I’ll never forget. Then, having a similar experience with Endgame, I’m a lucky man. You can’t replicate that energy.
I've been looking for this video and comment in the wrong place. I thought i heard this laugh and read this comment at the no way home 3 spiderman audience reaction this whole time! It is hilarious
Man, being there opening night, rushing to the theater after work, being surrounded by so many people who were just as hyped as you. You just had to be there 😢
The true magic on this whole scene was it was so many years of build up, So many years of set up, So, many, YEARS, of lovable characters and stories. All for one huge payoff that hit harder than the hulk. We may not get this magic again for awhile. But the fact we had it here, is enough to last for years
A long time ago, I lost a close friend who was into marvel superheroes way more then I was and passed away before the first Avengers movie.. I made a promise to watch them all so I could tell him about them once we saw eachother again, he would loved this scene..
Easily the best MCU film 3000 imo 👑 it was the best theater experience I have ever had in my life. I miss this era 😢. I wish I could turn back time to 2019
Four years ago I started sobbing uncontrollably during this scene in the theatres. Marvel really knew how to hit you - you spend the entire movie hoping they'll bring the rest of the heroes back, then as soon as they attempted to, Thanos and his crew just blasted them, so you forget that they tried to bring them back....and then this. So clever.
Always thought they missed an opportunity for a callback/payoff. Before Cap "assembles" them they should have had Iron Man say "Call it, Cap" like in the original Avengers.
What made this scene so great was that they did a great job of making us forget everyone had been brought back until this happened. Absolutely powerful film making.
Shout out to everyone who experienced this the first time in a theater. An Epic experience that may never be duplicated. WE EXPERIENCED IT! Im proud to share it with you! ❤
cant wait for 2029 when they re-release it for its 10th anniversary. we will get to relive this moment again with our children, new friends, spouses, and parents. what a special moment for cinema, and the world.
Anyone just cry at this still or is it just me?

Can we all agree if Endgame gets re-released in cinemas we all still react this passionately?
Yup... who's bringing the neurolizers?!
Yes. Part of that is because this is meant to be seen on a big screen with a crowd

Even after so long, I still get chills. I doubt we will have another moment in cinema like this for a long time.... and we were part of it

Yeess!
Gonna be hard for anything in the movies to top "Infinity Wars," and "Endgame".....
We have spiderverse now, it gives similar experience, obviously not like infinity war and endgame but it's awesome

Nothing will ever compare to this. Nothing.

I love how the audience was silence just for the "assemble." Then the entire audience went fucking wild.
