- Geode resin flower coasters
I used Barnes Clariti to make this resin flower. I also used white Castin Craft pigment paste and Pinata alcohol inks to create these 3D flowers.

Usually I don't comment on videos but I had to tell you how great your videos, your pieces of art and you yourself are! It's amazing that you share your experience and don't keep all your secrets to yourself! Helps me a lot and love watching and listening 😊
Franks wife, Carolyn, here. I’m sooooo glad I started watching the beginning of your resin journey till now. You are getting better every time. This is absolutely gorgeous!
This is probably my favorite resin coaster that you've done! It is so delicate and exquisitely crafted!! Just WOW WOW WOW!!! 😍😍😍
Lovely Lovely Lovely
What is this WHITE gel pls
That is the best flower coaster I have ever seen and I have seen a lot, stunning.
I’m going to try again but when I did my resin was too liquid and it did not make a flower at all 🤔🙁
@@laurajohnson7165 ive never made one of these before but...I heard from others who make different kinds of jewelry with resin that if you wait a little bit , the resin will harden just enough to the thickness you would like it
@@laurajohnson7165 nagyon ötletes

Looks lovely Julie, I will definitely give this one a go. You should call it your Cotton Candy Flower Coaster xx
In Australia that would be fairy floss 🤓🤓
Instablaster...
What a Beautiful Pink Rose from a Rose - I Love it !!! 🌹🌹🌹
Beautiful! Now I want to get into resin! So many crafts, so little time...
You will love it!!! I have soooooo many many molds. Haven't gotten into make my own molds but after seeing her sea horse I about jumped out of bed at 2 a.m. lol
Judi Dugas , LOL, every time I see a new and beautiful crafted piece of art, my husband says..don’t think about it, your studio won’t hold any more supplies to start another craft..😄
@@TamaraLR My hubby has a pole barn full of his craft's so I have somewhat of a "free pass" lol
What a gorgeous flower, it's just as beautiful on the back as it is on the front. So when you use your coasters, you won't have to worry about which side is up, love from Amanda in Australia :-) :-)
Right?!
That is so beautiful! When you start pouring, the flower has a very primitive look. Then resin does its magic! Unbelievably realistic, 3-d flower! Love it! Please stay safe!!
OMG NOW CAN YOU MAKE OTHERS ❣
Best flower with demention I have ever seen..You Go Girl ❣
Your flower is gorgeous ! No blob that's stunning ! 👏👏👏💙💙💙 Perfect !
One of THE best flowers I've seen done in Coaster form. 👌🌸💯❤️
Usually it's the front that ends up the nicest, but it's literally as if you had set a real flower into resin and it stayed the way it was!! 😍🥰
I love it!!! ❤️
I've been wanting to get into resin art for just over a year now but the start up costs to buy everything runs into 100s of pounds.. 😕😟
I so badly want to create pretty things to sell and make others happy too!! 💯😘
*This is probably my favorite resin coaster that you've done! It is so delicate and exquisitely crafted!!This is beautiful! That is actually the first time that. Love 💕 this
I would love to see apricot, burnt orange, white, and clear triangular coasters with rose gold glitter mixed with clear glass along the top edge 😍
Maybe an iridescent white and a pinky nude color as well
I love how this pink is vibrant and soft. It’s amazing how real it looks! I’m not a flower 🌸 person but I really love these!!! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Oh my goodness! So beautiful and I love the 3D look!
Hi Julie! 🙂 I remember you starting the resins weeks back and by golly woman look at you now!! That pink flower is the top of the class! I love how you have gone from strength to strength and ENJOY yourself so much, it is endearing! Good luck with more pieces, you must be chuffed! Love from Ireland ❤🍀🌺🙂🙏

It is so pretty and yes it does look 3D. Beautiful job!!!
I love it, I love it, I love it. So soft and beautiful. Wow when you unfolded it and showed the back I just couldn't believe how beautiful it is. You should be happy you did an outstanding job.
I love your turquoise ones you had on the table also.
thats incredibly beautiful! i love it so much! you're on to something here!
You make the prettiest flowers, they look like you took and poured resin over a flower!
OMG! I was sitting wide eyed waiting for you to flip it! It's so gorgeous there's no words! 😍😍
I like your new intro as well as your birds and animals. Very relaxing before trying to emulate your stunning works.
Wow! Wow wow 👏 I thought it was a real flower! Beautiful!!!!

Zo lief dat je het met ons deelt. Anderen houden het voor zichzelf en willen er geld aan verdienen Dank je wel
That is so pretty! Feminine and lovely!
Absolutely beautiful! One day I will try resin!
And I still think they are as beautiful as they were the first time I seen them
I am new to resins, too. I'm getting close to 80, I have Dementia, and I'm bored. I started painting w/acrylics, then pen and inks. Before my brain started "dying", I couldn't paint to save my life.... unless stick figures count! Now, with only 1/3 of my brain working, I am creating 5" x 7" paintings that are going for $50 - $100! I'm just amazed! Now I'd like to see what I can do w/resin, but money is a problem. Instead of the alcohol dyes you use, what would happen if I used a few drops of acrylic paint instead? Or perhaps food coloring?
Acrylic paint works good no worries.. but for flowers I think alcohol ink works good
How wonderful that you have found a new passion in your wonder years. Good luck with your paintings I’m sure they are beautiful 🤗🇬🇧 love and hugs from uk
Oh my, you truly do beautiful work! I ran into your channel by accident, so decided to watch your resin blob fruit bold. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but you have such a witty sense of humor. So I subscribed to your channel. Great job!!
Oh my gosh...I have just learned so much from this video. Now I now why I have been making mistakes. Thank you for the great learning experience!
Oh my goodness! This is amazing! Now I know what I’ve been doing wrong, I need to let it thicken. Thank you so much xx
Do we need to let the base layer also thicken and the colors as well?
You never know what to expect but that turned out stunning, love it!!!
finally i have a tip for you instead of you teaching me 😅 that half a drop of ink can be obtained just unscrew the lid and tickle the surface of the ink with a cocktail stick and then stir with the cocktail stick if its a small amount
Good tip! Thank you
This turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Love it
I love this design!
Holy Moly Julie, that is so awesome! Absolutely gorgeous. Love love it 😺❤🤗💕
Love the back side! You can see every petal. Congrats!

I always press the like thumbs up 👍 button even before I watch bc I know I’ll like EVERY video you post. And again, so true on this one. Absolutely Love it! TFS!
Btw thanks so much, I really appreciate how you take us down to see the closeups at the end and the progress after an hour. I know it’s a pain to take your gloves off and all but, I want you to know it doesn’t go unnoticed and I appreciate it. I’m paraplegic and watch your videos while I exercise and it gets my mind off the pain. I believe in giving accolades when due, so Anyway, basically thank you😊
This is how you keep the glitter from sinking! You have no idea how many resins pours I threw out bc the glitter sinks! This is absolutely beautiful!!!♥️♥️💫
Love your tutorial!!! Best I've seen so far. Thank you, Julie. Xx 🌸

💐🤗💜👏👍💐
This is amazing. I was facing problem making flowers but now I am clear what to do. Thank you dear. It's lovely
I'm so jealous, I wish I had the money to do this kind of stuff, I wanna make beautiful coasters and trays for people
Girl I've been there. I can tell you with some determination you CAN get that money to start up. SOUNDS CRAZY: but save all your change in a jar and dont touch it ,then cash it in when you have enough. it works! if not then take it and start a cheaper craft you can sell to make money. Then use that money to get what you need for this type of crafting. get all your supplies one sat a time till you have what you need ,then start. Above all as with any crafter use what you already have to start. Margarine containers ,yogurt containers ,plastic tupperware type containers from dollar tree. Acrylic paints you may have (use by dipping with a tooth pick),I even used old eye shadows as a colorant , and spices like tumeric etc for color or depth. Even shredded crayons. So All you really need is the resin and a little ingenuity. You can do this.
Wonderful artwork! Congrats ❣️
It turned out beautifully!! I can’t wait to try!!
Gorgeous, Julie. I love that pink.
Oh you inspire me so, Julie!!! I live the delicate petals!
I can’t thank you enough for the tutorial on how to make this beautiful floral coaster!!!
Both sides are absolutely lovely. Exquisite!
Gorgeous!. The back side was such a lovely surprise!
This is gorgeous, very nice work! You mentioned having difficulty finding the center. Because your mold is translucent, you could measure out the center point on the backside and mark it with a sharpie or similar. Then you'd be able to see it while pouring the resin. Keep up the lovely work!
Great idea!
Julie, that is so beautiful! It took my breath away!! Great job!!
Very pretty.Just had a fun to watch you to explain step by step. It’s a good way to use a left over resin.Thank you.It makes me to try some day.
Beautiful ❤️ looks like real flower petals! Wonderful job!!!
