David, thanks so much. I have a 71 with these bumpers that I’m just starting in on, but this gives me good insight on some of the adjustments I need to make to fix some positioning. I’ve learned lots from your videos that will make my own project smarter and more manageable.
Excellent content and progress again. Your 2002 is absolutely awesome. They sell in U.K. for £20,000 to £25,000. Yours has the best dynamic colour. Looks so much better now. U.K. supports you. More please more often. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Love them! Alberta plates too! I grew up in Calgary in the 80's driving these beasties:-) Sadly I quickly jumped onto Blunt Tech's site drooling and..."TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO HIGH DEMAND" *sniff*
Great job! One thing David, for the front bumper side pieces, there should be a rubber spacer between the bumper and the fender. That will prevent the bumper from scratching the paintwork. There is a BMW part for that, but any rubber spacer with the proper inner diameter (same as the bolt) will do
I am installing pre 1972 bumpers on a 1974 2002. The base bumper supports shown in your video are different than the stock supports(1971 and prior) by reason of a flange added that allows them to be attached to the frame using the same attachment point as the 1974 "big bumper". Could you tell me where I can buy those bumper supports. Thanks!

Looks great 👍 good job :) I love the taillight design on that car
This is awesome! Thanks for the video.
It looks great with those new European bumpers.
What about the rectangular holes in the front? Any fabrication you could do?

what are your plans on plugging the holes on the body left over from the US bumpers?
Hi, nice work with those bumpers, where did you get them?
Do you sell this car?
Great video man! Will you be adding driving or fog lights? I just took out the U.S bumpers last night on my 2002 lol
Where did you purchase the bumper and parts?

@@markolson3510 I haven’t found it I am gonna installing driving lights while searching for the bumpers
Where'd you get the bumpers?
Can I have the old bumpers?
Hey david , where did you get this bumper please we need them asap lol
Got them from Blunttech
@@davidsgarage can you let me know exactly which back bumper option they were?
Those North America bumpers really ruined the beautiful lines on the 2002. Good choice putting the Euro bumpers on.
The front bumper would have been better simple and without the 2 rubber pads.
Looks way better, nice upgraded.
Love the color!!
