My son, a Texan, lived in the Tacoma, WA area for work, for about 3 years. I went to visit him and his wife while he was there. We were leaving a Starbucks by the Seattle fish market and my son held the door open for the people coming out behind us. They were shocked by this simple act of kindness and said "Wow, you aren't from here are you?" To which my son said, "no, we're from Texas."

It might not be as bad a LA, but the homeless problem in Austin is out of hand. I-35 runs right through the center of the city. Each interchange is no longer a grassy area, but a tent city. A few days ago one of these caught fire, the intense heat from all of the tents and belongings, read trash, caused the interstate highway to be shut down while the damage to the road above the flames was repaired. The state legislature has a bill to rename I-35 in Austin the Steve Adler (mayor of Austin and strong homeless advocate) public restroom.

I visited Texas when I was little to go to a baseball game at the Astrodome. The game was rained out. I went to Dallas to watch the NBA all-star game a few years ago and it snowed 12.5 inches. Texas probably doesn't want me to visit again.

How was a game at the freaking AstroDOME rained out? There was no opening in the ceiling!

Wrong. But the dome could be open or closed, so his story is suspect. When it raimed they simply closed the roof. BTW. When built the Astrodome was the eighth wonder of the world. Now abandoned and likely to be razed. Crocodile tears here.

The reason Texas has more tornadoes than any other state is because Texas has more land than any other state in the Lower 49. Texas "blows the #2 state Kansas out of the water" because Texas has more than 3 times as much land as Kansas. If you figure tornadoes per square mile, Texas is probably not even in the top 5.
Also, your population estimate of Texas is about 11 million off and throws your figures of obesity way off. Texas has about 29 million people, not 18 million. So if 12 million of 29 million are overweight, that is less than 50% overweight, not 65% as you claim.

Agree...I see some overweight people for sure, but not 65%! Definitely way less than half...

Electric bills after blackout have truly been abominable and excessive I understand it’s a state emergency in Texas!🚨🚨

Not for most folks. That was mainly those people who had switched to "Griddy", a wholesale company that uses a variable rate system. However...most of those people will not have to pay those huge bills, that company is in big trouble. I think that company is in bankruptcy now. For the rest of us who have a normal electric company--things are fine. My electric bill for the month during the February ice storm was under $100.

@P White lol such BS, “Insurrection” none even had weapons, went inside and sat in some traitors (Democrats) chairs, unlike your BLM and ANTIFA folks with weapons and burned, looted, Killed and attacked people. Look at all the destruction YOUr people did. and before you mention the guard he had a heart attack, NO ONE was attacking him, unlike with your people
