"Head Start" triviaaaaaa! the last section of the song is actually a field recording! my friend and i played a duet on the guitar with a stereo mic in our yard as the sun was coming down. This is when the birds like to start making their calls, so all those sounds are real! We didn't have a metronome or timer, and i wanted the last section to be more down to earth so it was really just the two of us riffing. just like the theme of the song, i wanted it not only to sound like it, but to actually be a moment where we were present
