I went to see slowdive play and had no idea widowspeak was opening. No band, just the two of them. I remember holding back tears as Robert played that guitar ever so beautifully.
This was my parents wedding song. They're divorced now and my dad still plays it all the time, it really does break my heart.

Holding each others hands, gazing the beautiful sky and the magical rays of the moon sparkling his eyes being the only light around. Not knowing what the future holds for the both of you.
A tear drop shed by either one of you. Feeling loved yet scared at the same time. But most importantly the peace and his/her presence brings a strange calmness that you just lay down living that moment!!

When I hear music like this I don’t think of love, I think of traveling I think of everything I remember and the smiles of my Friends, I think of the feeling of rolling around on a scooter/skateboard/bike and feeling the ground pass by while looking into the distance as I imagine life slowly fading as if it were to all fade to black. That kind of feeling where I feel best alone or watching people move around in front of me. I guess you can call it a happy sorrow
