Once in a while, usually very unexpectedly, a female vocalist comes onto my radar and captures my soul. It started with Kate Bush when I was young and carefree in the late '70s. More recently, albeit several years ago now, Marissa Nadler did the same thing, as did Emiliana Torrini. Maple Glider has now been added to that ever-growing list of treasures. The purity and fragility of this lady's voice is beautiful. Thank you, Maple.
