Hello. The black dial Daytona is a BADASS watch I truly think 🤔 the black dial is nicer than the white. It just flows nice . One of the most comfortable Rolex sports model. There is a reason why this is the most demanding SS Rolex PERIOD !!!! 😎😎
Most People only get the panda because they’ve been programmed to believe it’s better but several owners I know wish they had the black dial even with a lower investment return.
Love this Daytona like you said it’s robust, reliable and functional. In addition it can be your daily and is practical for formal settings. This is my dream watch and can’t wait to get mine. I totally agree with you that you have to have connection to obtain one of these watches . I am keeping my fingers crossed I was promised this watch From an AD that I trust and have a great purchased history with , hopefully it will be here soon. Enjoy your timepiece

The issue with current model is Authorized Dealers get 2-3 per year, and they never make their showcase. So demand is by far exceeding supply. Hence 26-35k price tag with grey market dealers.
Me got that one 2021! I barely wear it though lol. The black dial is going for gbp 35k? I am currently wearing my 2020 ss yachmaster 2 One of my 13 Rolex 6 AP and 2 PP. all from my AD. My favourite is my James Cameron deepsea and my AP blue dial 41mm chrono, I also have two date 41mm APs black and white dial too…. only with second hand and date at 3pm. My very favourite piece is my blue dial 39mm jumbo AP. I collect them! PS I am not being funny but I got mine within three weeks. It took longer to get than my jumbo, pepsi and even my wimbledon Datejust 41 with two tone everrose gold. My 41mm green OP I got at retail now it’s going for gbp28k. It’s insane. I am very happy to own them and wouldn’t dream of selling one of them. Also congrats on getting your Daytona… they truly are beautiful pieces.

Looks like a lot of work going into the new setup! Looks good! My son is s videographer so I know how much time, effort and $s go into the video process . . . then of course the hours into editing! Well done.
Daytona best price, best time accuracy, best after sale customer service, well made timepieces that rarely they need to repair and most important thing that Rolex watches hold price better than any other watch brand , whenever you try to find a con in Rolex will find yourself compelled to admit it is best watches brand

Daytona is one of the worst chronographs to get if you want a chrono that you use regularly as a part of your active lifestyle. Hard to read small sub-dials, especially at quick glance, not readily avaiable chrono buttons, unless you keep them unscrewed which makes the watch look silly
I don't think anyone uses a chronograph to time anything. Most people will just use their phone, a dive bezel is actual more useful day to day. But yes the Daytona is too small to be a chronograph and I hate those bullet holes in the subdials.
@@ronniep9272 I'm sure there are people like me who like to live their lives as much offline and as much not using smartphones as possible. So for us a chrono is very useful. Be it cooking food, wanting to time some travel, or your walks/hikes/runs. A dive bezel can be also useful, i agree as it can be used to mark a second time zone, with some flash maths in the head, do some countdown or timing as long as it doesn't have to be dead accurate, or can be used to display the date, if your watch is a no date function. My omega mk40 speedmaster is even smaller than a daytona yet much easier to read, and a great tool watch for my everyday needs. Of course shame on the very low water resistance.

Well AP watches are absolutely stunningly beautiful with the bracelet. I've come to appreciate and love Rolex watches they are like tanks and they are beautiful WATCHES as well they are the best every day wear watch without a doubt
Let’s say you’re 60 years and wait to get one at an AD. By the time you get called, you might be too old to enjoy it. Such is the case for older people to buy secondary.
The Daytona... my least favourite Rolex. A lovely piece, a rich history and a huge fanbase. A Flex like no other watch, but just not my kind. A bit too basic, not that it is basic in any way, its A Daytona after all, but everywhere you go you see a Daytona. Social Media, Nightclubs even our weatherman wears one. There was just too much exposure to this watch, no excitement anymore. Not to discredit the watch itself, public made it boring

Boy I'm really mixed on Rolex. I love vintage Rolex. But this new artificial suppression of supply by what is inherently a mass producer of watches really has me losing all interest in buying another Rolex. I hear stories of people being banned for flipping their mass produced Rolex. Kind of absurd to me. For as long as I can remember it was wiser to buy a used Rolex because the Daytona aside, you were losing money on the Rolex the minute you walked out of the AD. Very recently yes the quality took a major move up but so did the pricing. So it's not really a value proposition in my book. You're paying for every bit of that durability many times over for what is essentially very unremarkable movements. And the brand itself has become a "flex" brand among noobies with crypto cash burning a hole in their pockets. But we're already seeing a steep steep drop in those outlandish grey market prices from winter time. Personally I don't rate Rolex is the realm of Patek, Vacheron, A. Lange or Breguet. Rolex have no heritage as an inhouse movement maker and their bracelets and dials were also outsourced until recent acquisitions. If you can score a good deal on a not very ubiquitous Rolex reference it's a good bet for a daily. But sooner or later a mass producer is going to have to start mass producing again.
rolex are not the best and i have two, an older one and a newer one...rolex are just hyped and dumbest which do not know anything about watches knows the word...rolex.....just to impress others ( maybe 80% of the owners)..there are so much better watches...more beautiful..better complications...better handmade things... rolex is for flippers
haha AP RO chronographs are horrible quality, actually all APs but chronos specially! So fragile and unreliable. I have owned a few and will never again touch one! unless the quality improves a lot and I really mean a lot👍

The new AP chronos in 41 ref 26240 run rings around this Daytona in any respect of the watch game. Other than that, great video.

AP Chrono is garbage quality. I have owned a few. Had a lot of issues with them. Daytona is a superior watch specially as a sports watch.
