Well depending on how much bleeding there is, sometimes the ENTs don't even pack. Usually they do though as (typically) even one polyp has enough vascularization that it produces moderate bleeding when you remove it, even though polyps are relatively poorly vascularized compared to normal mucosa.

You would be surprised how problems with your gastrointestinal tract affect your overall well-being. @@nizarksd4452Hello, yes my nose is doing just fine and I had no complications with it healing. I have allergies so my nose is usually stuffy but it has made a difference in the long run. It took about 2 weeks to fully recover but after the first 3 to 4 days I was back up and going about my daily tasks. This was my first surgery so I was very nervous and they gave me some medication to help my anxiety and I don’t even remember falling asleep or really what went on the whole first day. The first couple days there was blood and had to have gauze taped under my nose. It also feels like having a sinus infection the first week. But by the third day the bleeding stoped dripping except even I bent down. You will probably have blood drainage and s sore throat for about a week but drink plenty of water and you’ll be fine. I had anti biopics and nose rinse. All in all this was a very easy surgery and recovery isn’t bad at all. You’ll be just fine, I can promise that.

I'm 27 years old. my nasal bone was described as Crooked. I had a respiratory problem. most winters will now be cured by surgery or cured by minor treatments.
I’ve had chronic sinusitis close to a year due to one of these. I’m afraid to get the surgery because when I had the scans done and they told me about it they said that it’s one of the most painful surgeries to recover from and I don’t wanna deal with that.. it also sucks not being able to breathe through my nose half the time though so I don’t know.
Currently recovering from this and also a septoplasty and literally, my periods are more painful. Tylenol has worked just fine for me. The worst part is the saline rinses you have to do four times a day. I'm almost done week one out of two for recovery and I've been off pain meds for a day. (Surgery was 6 days ago)
I had to have this done with a FESS and septoplasty. Honestly, it does not even hurt that much, its just uncomfortable cause u cant breathe from ur nose, other than that yea you get a little headache and such but its really nothing too bad. First 2 days are the worst cause the drugs from surgery just wear off but after that its really not that bad. you can do it!

here's several tips worth trying use a saline rinse - this is a great way to keep your nose healthy eat chili peppers - these contain capsaicin which can shrink nose polyps . Use Tea Tree Oil - dilute it and swab the polyps with it - this can reduce polpys and reduce symptoms. cosume foods with high levels of anioxidants - broccoli, citrus fruits etc - these can reduce nose polyps . (I read these and the reasons they work on jits polyp plan website )

Try the following for nasal polyps: 1. Protect your ears from cold. ALWAYS. Remember, anything below body temperature is cold. 2. Keep your palate (the roof of your mouth) warm. That means always take your food/drinks warm. Take some warm water in your mouth and keep it there for some time while pressing the warm water againt your palate with your tounge. Do this multiple times a day with one glass of warm water each time. 3. Have patience. You will get results in 1-2 weeks. Try it. Good luck.

the polyps are actually useful, they block your airways when a dangerous virus or bacteria has infected them, this makes sure your the rest of your body can't be infected by other infections so that the immune system can focus on that one virus.
@Michael Scott soooo Polyps May be annoying asl most of the time but they take the fall to get infected to save other organs and parts of our body from viruses? Huh....
Endoscopic surgery. My guess is they'll probably use small instruments about the size of the camera inserted to your nostrils, like a small long scissor and cut the base of the polyps (?)

A few days later I started to feel blocked (I guess from the swelling caused by the surgery) but I was put on Flixonase which are nose drops and after a while I could breathe better again. :) I definitely recommend the operation it really helped me a lot. :)
How to they even know you have this problem? How is it diagnosed?
semi sweet ...next time you see your doc ask him/her to look up you nose
This is just my guess :
You'll most likely to feel the symptoms like inability to smell scents, or worse you'll have difficulty breathing through your nose. Once you go to the doctor and explain the symptoms, they'll likely to check if you have nasal polyps.
Did the surgery cure the Bad breath? That’s the most severe symptom I am having, that’s killing me ugh
Got the news I’m gonna need this surgery in January. I’m absolutely terrified. I’ve never had surgery. No idea how I’m going to get through this
@@nizarksd4452Hello, yes my nose is doing just fine and I had no complications with it healing.
@@cameron6783 hey are you using any saline rinses for stopping the polyps from reocurring
@@syedmohammed6283 Yes and no. I don’t do it very consistently, maybe once a week or so. I mostly just use Flonase to prevent them from coming back.
@@cameron6783 that's great, did you have any swollen turbinates by any chance?

Consult with a doctor
yes human, go to the doctor and he will be able to your ear throat and nose dr and he will very quickly know if you have polyps. if your parents dont want to pay for a dr visit him yourself and do an appointment
I had it twice once when I was 7 & then again at 13
Bless you.
How are you now?

Thank you for your teaching
I can breathe through my nose ok, but I haven't had a proper sense of smell for like 4 years or so, I'm wondering if polyps can be the cause of lack of smell / taste in things
Yes, they cause problems with not being able to smell.
You need to go to an ENT doctor so he or she can tell you what the problem is.
That probably was a nasal stone. I use to blue them out also & they smell bad. I just had surgery a few days ago

I want to know name of medicine
here's several tips worth trying
use a saline rinse - this is a great way to keep your nose healthy
eat chili peppers - these contain capsaicin which can shrink nose polyps .
Can these cause migraines? My left nostril is always closed and air never alternates to that one. Im always dizzy latly and get migraines.
yes definitely
Why does it say "sample use only?"
For Hospital or other medical channels, they need to purchase a license to use their videos, otherwise, it's considered copyright (Think of this as a watermark on an artwork or photograph)

Try the following for nasal polyps:
Try it. Good luck.

So can please give any clue what should I do?
Maybe consult a doctor?
Ever have a stuffy nose? It's your nasal polyps enlarged and irritated. Get them removed and you'll never have a stuffy nose again.
the polyps are actually useful, they block your airways when a dangerous virus or bacteria has infected them, this makes sure your the rest of your body can't be infected by other infections so that the immune system can focus on that one virus.
@@thedoctor248 i think of this also
@Michael Scott soooo Polyps May be annoying asl most of the time but they take the fall to get infected to save other organs and parts of our body from viruses? Huh....
How r u now, did polyps returned, pls rply
But not get smel when blocked
How they removed??
Yeah, I don't suppose the polyps just disappear like in the video
Endoscopic surgery. My guess is they'll probably use small instruments about the size of the camera inserted to your nostrils, like a small long scissor and cut the base of the polyps (?)
Anyone pls tell after the surgery will it grow again,,, or what r ways to stop it growing again
S it grows again, for me it started to grow again after 10 years of surfery
