The moment Terry decided to pick up the sword, he mentally admitted defeat to Chozen on hand-to-hand combat. Even when it came down to weapon combat, Chozen defeated him. Terry took advantage of Chozen's distraction, and struck him from behind. Chozen is the winner here.
It's not a point system. It's suppose to be a winner takes all bout. You can win 9 of the 10 rounds in boxing and on the 10th round you make a mistake and get knocked out. This is a similar case.
Agreed! The first few episodes i was thinking like: meh, where is this going, then when you think you get bored (somewhere in ep 3/4) , then suddenly Bam! And the final episode was amazing how they timed everything its perfect
This show gets better every season. Everything's just perfectly written, acted, directed, edited and choreographed. The music is awe inspiring. I can't get enough of this show and I hope we get atleast 2 more seasons.
Chozen won, but did not get the victory he deserved. I feel there's unsettled business between theses two. Season 6 REMATCH!! This time, a sober Chozen.
Chozen is the best, episode 2 was for Chozen (1 vs. 6, Terry got scared), and in the last episode Chozen is 100% best than Terry, but in the series isn't Chozen who must defeat Terry, is Daniel who must do it.
He wasn't scared man that was a test to see how skilled Chosen was. And he got to see his skill without fighting himself he was impressed with what he saw.
I think its a subtle hint that Silver has a terminal illness. Notice all throughout the season he was going to extreme lengths to create a legacy for Cobra Kai and himself, by winning the Saiki Takai. And in Episode 9 he's at the hospital at the same time Johnny and Carmen are having their baby scan, but talks to Johnny about savouring every moment before it's gone. The line to Chozen here is that Terry would rather die fighting, rather than in a hospital bed.
@@bluenicholasbf2142 It still could have been the moment where things turned dark. I mean, let's not forget the beginning where it seemed Kreese had been killed in a prison fight.
I'm just gonna point out that the moment Chozen got serious he whooped Terry in 3 moves hand-to-hand.

Yes Chozen verses Silver I knew it was going to be a hell of a fight.
As Kreese stated, if you lose concentration in the field you are dead meat.
Chozen won the fight, but lost the battle.
Another important fact, Chozen was drunk lol

Chozen is still fighting honorably. Every time his hits went home, he waited for Silver to recover. If he didn't, the duel would have ended early.
Fun to watch this fight over and over again.
Season 5 was amazing

@@extraplain2412 Only one more season though!
in combat never turn away from a opponent EVER even if they seam defeated
As Tatsu said in TMNT “never lower your eyes to an enemy”

Chozen pulled a Mace Windu: he had Silver but allowed himself to get distracted.

I love that hit, like, you don’t know pressure points.
0:22 All that's missing from this moment is a graphic saying "Silver vs. Chozen".
Did anyone else notice that the weapons they used were thr same ones Sam and Tory used during the skills competition
"I was meant to die on the battlefield" could also be referring to Silver realizing he should have died in Vietnam if not for Kreese.

@@dogswifty7800 that's a really interesting take - I'd be curious to see if that comes to fruition in S6
Such a shame Chozen died. This could have been his redemption.
He doesn’t die
It's still a show dedicated to a younger audience, so they're extremely unlikely to show anyone being killed.

chozen just did 2 things against Terry to defeat him in a fist fight
Is that Tyron woodley
Yep and wonder boy
