I cant believe how much work you must have done! That build was just soo believable as an abandoned villa, even down to the washing up in the sink and old milk carton in the hall! Hats off you ! A Stunner of a build!

This build was stunning, Both the original and your reno... PPL ARE SO TALENTED
as an italian i find it so funny that the style of interior design we are associated to abroad is the 70s inspired warm tones, while here these types of interiors are seen as grandma’s old home lol. it might also be because i live in northern italy and here everything changes a lot if you move a bit, but even when i stayed in other parts of the country i found that generally we have more contemporary or antique style homes (and very often a blend between super new elements with 100 years-old furniture in the same rooms, like edwardian tables with modern chairs) but for what i have seen everything from the 50s to the 90s is considered as outdated in a garish way. that said i really loved the build and to see what other countries think of us, it’s always really fun :) (the outside dining part is VERY true)
I was watching and thinking of modernist interior and furniture designers from Italy, particularly B&B Italia, Poliform and Minotti etc and how Italians I know (Lombardy Italians) will either mix like you said or have very modern homes, even in a house or terrazzo that’s very old it’ll be balanced or entirely with modern furniture - but I think the classic Italian kitchens are beautiful, from De Manincor and Officine Gullo.
@@princedakkar2251 i have to agree!! i personally love antique and classic furniture, especially the early 1900s style, but for example my parents love both modern design and antique pieces so our house is mixed in styles with deep tones of old wood in contrast with glossy whites and silvers from the more modern furniture. here in the north a lot of people i know (especially the younger generations) would only want the super modern and technologic homes tho, which is a pity considering how many stunning old pieces go to waste because of these home remodels
The original builder did such an awesome job with this build and I absolutely LOVE what you did with it! Gorgeous all around!
Amazing renovation! Opening up some of the rooms to each other and to the outside was the best decision; it gives the house more room to breathe and captures the architecture in the warm Mediterranean climate quite well. Having a breeze in the house must feel so nice, especially in a room like the kitchen that can get really stuffy really easily. I also love that you kept much of the flow of the garden and big parts of the beautiful landscaping.
Wow what a stunning build by Inky and such a beautiful makeover by Aiden. I've never built any Mediterranean homes ever as i tend to build futuristic homes for my extraterrestrials 👽but hey they can go on vacation with me 😂now so THANK YOU both I'm looking forwards to downloading this soon 🎉😊
This must be the house I love the best from the ones you renovated (as a Greek, I appreciate all Mediterranean countries' styles). I love how much work and love Inky put in building this house and I love your renovation (Design me Devon is one of my favourite series), I love love love the clearing process!!!
Have you watched the movie "Under the Tuscan sun"? This house gives me Tuscan vibes so much and I would love to visit Tuscany so much one day!!

Simply stunning! This home's interior design is one of my favorite styles and color palettes.
I love to build old run down places, move my Sims into them, and then have them fix them up over time. The only problem I have, is that I love the builds so much in their dilapidated form, that it kills me to delete the cobwebs, crummy furniture, and junk in the yard. The tableau is always "just so" that I hate tearing it all apart! The fixed up version is always nice too, but it's so hard to say goodbye to my former build. SO conflicted. Inky's build was so beautifully done. And yours was also. Thank you for sharing!
I love these kinds of dilapidated builds. I play on console so I can never flip a chair or do the things tool mod let’s you do. I try however I can in my game though.

I thought about this villa from La Casa de Papel, where Professor was training his gang! And yes, I know it was in Spain, but old architecture in Spain and Italy is quite similar. The final result is stunning.

I understand you. I also refuse to get sick hahaha This week I woke up feeling really bad and went on a 5h bike trail. It did not work so well for me, hahaha The next day I was sick and completely exhausted.

Hi Aden, are you running Windows 10 or 11 on your PC? Sorry if someone has already suggested this or mentioned this, but at the moment I cannot get the EA app to run on my desktop PC with Windows 10, but it works fine on my laptop with Windows 11. If you can update to W11, it might fix the problem!
