I can relate when shopping. I see an item and say that's too much I can make that cheaper. Always said that when shopping with young daughter. We would sometimes make the item. Or completely forget about when we would see something else.😊 Daughter is very crafty to this day as me as well. It brings such joy.

Love the video, and I ❤ you, you have given me the inspiration to try to organize with my fibromyalgia and health issues and just take one day at a time and do what I can do and when I can do them and I learned that people just are going to have to learn I have health issues and my house isn't always going to be the way I want them to be. I'm not saying my house is a total mess, but my floors are not always going to be moped, or my polishing is going to be done every day, and if people don't like it they either can help me or just stay away 😂!!!
I'm a fellow fibro warrior. Learning how to pace yourself and deciding my house won't be perfect has been transformative. And the mantra "five minutes matters" has also helped. On bad days, I might only have 5 minutes of energy, and that's fine!

Try Frankincense press it on the roof of your mouth with your thumb. Mine are usually gone after 20 minutes. It's my favorite essential oil. Be sure it's pure. No added alcohol or other fillers. I use doterra. There are a few others out there.

When I'm depressed I have a hard time getting into crafting. It's like I turn into a turtle and go into my shell. I've got a project on my knitting machine my daughter got me that I've not got back to . I've moved in with family and don't have any space been trying to get a place so most all of my crafting items r in storage I've got some in my van .

You always make me laugh. I am always told how talented I am, but I'm really a copy cat. If I see something I want to make, I make it. I once made a wooden doll bed for my granddaughter. Costs me about $150 - I had to buy a small power saw! The down side is original ideas are few and far between. I am alway in awe of the recycle or upcycle ideas you come up with. I am absolutely like you, when it comes to creativity. I can't seem to just "come up with an idea" with a blank canvas, but I'll see something on Pinterest, and it will spark something, then I'll see something else, and that spark starts to grow. My friends always comment on how creative I am, but I'm really just stealing a bunch of other people's ideas, and mashing them into a new idea. 🤭

One of the first things I remember making for my room was with an empty toilet paper roll. I wanted Christmas decorations and that and colored paper made several items for my teenage room with little money. I like you made copies frequently throughout my life. One of my sons does the same thing. I too was a single mother for nearly twenty years raising my children to adults before attempting another union. I’m now a widow sadly but I’m strong and fine with my life, I’m 80 now and still do a lot of copying with a single income again. Here’s to many years for you. I always look forward to watching you and find your ideas so wonderful even if I don’t copy them.

Congratulations on your 8 year milestone with RUclips! My ex had started a home business when we were together, and about a year into, someone contacted him because they had the same business name. He changed his business name because the other person had it before him. Somehow, when he applied for his business license, the name was overlooked. I think the hardest part was that he had business cards, flyers, and his van decals already. That was an extra cost he did not expect, but it all worked out. I love your content and encouraging message. I love making things, but I am like you - see something to give me the ideal and research it, then come up with something.
YEP!!! I ran the required ad before getting my business license too. Yes, all the printed media - and websites, and business accounts, and getting people to know your new name. It almost took me out!!!! So glad it worked out for your ex. And thanks for being here with me for over 5 years!!!!

In the meantime, I will use follow your suggestions to put things in zones. I have so much stuff in my craft room that I can't get to. I'm so overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Tim Holtz supplies that I fear I'll never get to it all. I think I will gift some of it to the local school system. I pray your migraine has eased. I've been in this house for 28 years and widowed for 14. Had a couple of home maintenance issues right during CoVid where repairs remain incomplete. Between that chaos and accumulated stuff as I tried to 'find' myself without my husband, I get concerned sometimes I look like a hoarder. To give myself grace...I needed to hear that today because I had an arthritis flare-up over the weekend that prevented me from doing much of anything. I woke up beating myself up about what I didn't get done this weekend. I'm making a plan of focus areas for 20-30 minutes each day and I now have a garden kneeler that flips over to a bench to help me with getting up and down. I'm excited about a new focus and I thank you again for the encouragement.

Thank you for this video as well as all of the others. I am struggling myself. I am currently raising 3 grandkids (since they were born) ages 9. 8 and 7. My husband and I also do foster care. I suffer with anxiety and depression as well. I am working on decluttering and deep cleaning the inside of our small house as well as working on the outside. My body tells me all the time I am not as young as I used to be lol. When I watch your videos I fell so encouraged and it helps me to keep moving forward. Thanks for your words of encouragement they mean a lot.

Try Frankincense press it on the roof of your mouth with your thumb. Mine are usually gone after 20 minutes. It's my favorite essential oil. Be sure it's pure. No added alcohol or other fillers. I use doterra. There are a few others out there.

When I'm depressed I have a hard time getting into crafting.
It's like I turn into a turtle and go into my shell.
I've got a project on my knitting machine my daughter got me that I've not got back to .
I've moved in with family and don't have any space been trying to get a place so most all of my crafting items r in storage I've got some in my van .

You always make me laugh. I am always told how talented I am, but I'm really a copy cat. If I see something I want to make, I make it. I once made a wooden doll bed for my granddaughter. I am absolutely like you, when it comes to creativity. I can't seem to just "come up with an idea" with a blank canvas, but I'll see something on Pinterest, and it will spark something, then I'll see something else, and that spark starts to grow. My friends always comment on how creative I am, but I'm really just stealing a bunch of other people's ideas, and mashing them into a new idea. 🤭

One of the first things I remember making for my room was with an empty toilet paper roll. I wanted Christmas decorations and that and colored paper made several items for my teenage room with little money. I like you made copies frequently throughout my life. One of my sons does the same thing. I too was a single mother for nearly twenty years raising my children to adults before attempting another union. I’m now a widow sadly but I’m strong and fine with my life, I’m 80 now and still do a lot of copying with a single income again. Here’s to many years for you. I always look forward to watching you and find your ideas so wonderful even if I don’t copy them.

My ex had started a home business when we were together, and about a year into, someone contacted him because they had the same business name. He changed his business name because the other person had it before him. Somehow, when he applied for his business license, the name was overlooked. I think the hardest part was that he had business cards, flyers, and his van decals already. That was an extra cost he did not expect, but it all worked out.

YEP!!! I ran the required ad before getting my business license too. Yes, all the printed media - and websites, and business accounts, and getting people to know your new name. It almost took me out!!!! So glad it worked out for your ex. And thanks for being here with me for over 5 years!!!!

Hi Norrine! I have watched you for years and enjoy every video you post. I could surely use your help in declutering my home! I pray your migraine has eased. I've been in this house for 28 years and widowed for 14. Had a couple of home maintenance issues right during CoVid where repairs remain incomplete. Between that chaos and accumulated stuff as I tried to 'find' myself without my husband, I get concerned sometimes I look like a hoarder. To give myself grace...I needed to hear that today because I had an arthritis flare-up over the weekend that prevented me from doing much of anything. I woke up beating myself up about what I didn't get done this weekend. I'm making a plan of focus areas for 20-30 minutes each day and I now have a garden kneeler that flips over to a bench to help me with getting up and down. I'm excited about a new focus and I thank you again for the encouragement.

Thank you for this video as well as all of the others. I am struggling myself. I am currently raising 3 grandkids (since they were born) ages 9. 8 and 7. My husband and I also do foster care. I suffer with anxiety and depression as well. I am working on decluttering and deep cleaning the inside of our small house as well as working on the outside. My body tells me all the time I am not as young as I used to be lol. When I watch your videos I fell so encouraged and it helps me to keep moving forward.
