I missed my grandma 😔 its been a long time since the last time we've met ,,im on my job right now amd I wasn't able to go there at my hometown to meet my family 😔
It's the passing down of experience from one (usually older,) to another, (usually younger.) It's kinda like seeing life come full circle, and reminds us of the importance of having (hopefully,) once being cared for and nurtured. It's really touching.
No matter how many times I watch this video...the lady at 1:24 always brings out tears in my eyes..purest form of love there exists, a mother's love, blessings for her good health and happiness..
This is lovely. I have experienced personally how Koreans would go out of their way to help you get to the place you are looking for. They are warm people. If there is a country I would always go back to, it is definitely Korea.♥️
Maryjane Kathlyn Moster I had a few bad experiences in S. Korea and mainly coming from young people. Blunt discrimination. The older people were kind and accommodating. It's always the bad experiences that linger in your mind. I don't think I would go back if I had a choice. Everyone who knows I went asked me how it went. I can't lie so unfortunately I wouldn't recommend S. Korea. Japan and Taiwan on the other hand were exceptional.
ysomar don't let the bad overshadow the good... Its so sad to read these words don't say that.. you may go back and meet wonderful people..i guess you had the bad luck to come across the wrong ones..I lived there for a while and koreans are kind people overall the difference between them and my country in terms of education and kindness is so huge that it made me tear up
Angel Castillo and it was said by someone that felt the effects of the Korean War and democratic overthrows. It means a lot to not just scoff at millennial problems.

Sometimes the reaction from these social experiments video are just too good. So you cant just tell them "oh theres a camera over there" just let it be a little secret, because eventough the people theyre helping didnt really need help, their kindness had probably helped many others indirectly.
bulgogi because they see us as their younger reflection. They know how hard life can be, so they give us presents, food, affection and cheering to let us live the life they never had.
bulgogi *exactly. I just dont get it how some children can abandon their parents just because they've grown senile and annoying. They never realize that they were once young and fool and their parents never gave up on them. (Doesnt apply in all cases tho)*
Mitsuki c: really?,maybe asian grandma or grandpa is the nicest ppl especially when you said you are hungry, but asian parents is the strictest ppl,in your case in sweden or any other country your grandma is cruel or maybe always angry etc,but when they are younger or still become the parents they treat their kid better than in asian,so they have good and bad side in every culture
Velys Tiandi asian grandparents usually strict but nice at us, praying for us, keep feeding us while nagging too. It's just the best. because my grandma is like that
Korea is definitely one of the most powerful countries now economically, culturally, and economically. Korea has been that for thousands of years with the exception of a stagnation during the late 19th century. I do agree with you the some people mistake kindness for weakness.
Thanks for the kind words but we haven’t really been exploited throughout history.. just by the japanese for 30 years and by the mongolians when they took over basically the whole asian continent…

I miss my grandma so much. She was truly an angel. She literally never denied anyone who asked her for help. Sadly she passed away in 2009... too soon😢 She would have been so happy to see me graduate.
This reminds me of one time when I was a little kid: My parents and I went to this occasion that took place within the premises of a hotel. I remember briefly my father telling me to retrieve something (I forgot what it was) that required me to walk for a bit, so I did. I hadn't noticed that my shoelaces were untied until I took a glance down when one staff members from the hotel approached me and gestured with his hands for me to stop. He bends over and ties my shoelaces for me. After the interaction, I thanked him and he just replies with "Not a problem.". He smiled at me and walked away. Now that's what I call a 5-star service! That moment made me feel so special tbh. Never felt like that in a long time.
Koreans and Japanese are one of the nicest ppl out there because they teach their children how to behave Edit: because some ppl need to hear this sadly Good ppl and bad ppl can come in every color/religion/ nationality/race.

Meanwhile in Paris - Hello, excuse me could you please help me to tie... - I'm not interested thx - What ? No, but I just want... - Stop harassing me - What ? But... - I will call the police right now ... dafuq ?
I’ve been working at a men’s dress wear shop for years now, the amount of guys that come in asking me to tie their tie is quite a bit... it makes me wonder how many jobs I’ve helped men get, and how many people I’ve helped look proper for their events. I feel blessed to have been able to help these people over the years.
Yes. The lady who gave her warmer to the guy made me cry. Its true that this world will become better place if we help each other even in a small things.
Those korean ahjumma & ahjusi were so nice & helpful! I love how they treated that stranger like their own son with the way they talk to him. This kind of video warms my heart 💕
I went to Korea and I couldn't find directions on the train on where I'm going. I couldn't find a route. This lady went on a train with me just to help me get to my destination. She then took a train back to where we came from. Such a nice ocuntry❤️
I can never understand how people could be so giving to strangers these days... And to think that she doesn't belong to a younger generation, these kinds of encounters could well be fading away.
mizzeshy That’s in America though. Of course I can’t say for sure what people will do when you’re actually in Korea but from my experience, Koreans and Asian people (in Asia) usually are really well mannered cause Asian culture is pretty strict and because of that strictness, people learn how to be polite. I don’t think that’s with American Koreans cause they were brought up in America, which is way less strict. I do think Koreans will first find it a bit strange to see a black person tbh, cause they’re not used to it, but if you just educate them enough and show you’re just a regular person, they will see you as a regular person too. And if they don’t, they’re not worth your time! I’m half asian and I’ve been brought up in an all white, blonde hair & blue eyes rich neighbourhood and also had kids that found me strange cause I didn’t look like them and they sometimes made racist comments so I get what you mean. But some kids also found me strange at first but then we became friends and we didn’t pay attention to our different looks anymore.. The rest I just ignored.
Well, it wasn't the same situation but when I travelled to Korea my sister and I got lost and didn't know how to return to our place. We met a girl who was super nice and helped us, idk what would have happened to us without her help
I've learnt something from this video, helping with tie is one thing, the words of encouragement on top are priceless and we should all aspire to be like this. Say a good word to others and it will make the world a better place. I particularly liked the lady who showed motherly love. Bless her
I'm a plumber, construction worker, throwback toxicly (lol) masculine..... I just had tears running down my face as I watched this. Even the darkest cynic needs to be shown light every once on a while. Thank you. (Edit 1-8-21) The last lady in the video is the greatest. I love her SO much and wish to learn the language just so I could tell her so if I ever somehow met her. The best humans can be.
I cried, I don't think people are so warm and kind in my city, it's everyone for their own here, but it's really nice to see people converse like this, to see people be so helpful towards total strangers without having any gain from it.
damn it! youtube recommendations 😢😢 im a fresh graduate and been really depressed about finding a job because i dont where to start and what i really like
I worked a lot of random jobs until I found my true passion at the age of 35. You'll be fine. Just do your best every day and don't run away from opportunities that present themselves to you.
It can be nerve wracking at first. There are so many people out there who work passionately doing a job that they didn't plan for. Keep applying, work hard, learn and develop your skills. In time you will understand what type of job you'd like to do. I moved to UK 5 years ago after graduating from university. My first job was picking and packing in the warehouse, after 2 years i started working with a training team, instructing new starters and teaching them various departments in the warehouse and i did that for another 2 years. Now i work as a logistic test analyst for the same company i started 4 yeas ago. The knowledge and experience that i gathered has helped me progress. Just keep your hopes up, have a good work ethic and don't give up. I wish you the best of luck!
These videos make me adore and admire Asian culture so much. So many americans would've just said fuck off (Dont get me wrong were mostly friendly, but there's so many rude people too). And here you see everybody caring for this young man, his warmth, his future, wishing him good luck. I've always wanted to live in Japan for a bit, mainly for the car culture. But there's so many reasons to love Asian culture. Great video :)
That's really funny of you to say because in many places in the world, especially America, the past few generations have been some of the most hateful that ever walked this earth.
Most of this generation still had warm heart, you just run into some wrong person. Thing that hard is to help them tie coz this generation didn't know how to tie a tie lol
Depends on where you live. I live in Sweden and I can say that Swedes are usually really calm but not to open. Usually just stick my themselves which makes it really hard to make friends in Sweden T~T ...but we got nice meatballs....
Meanwhile in London: "Hello sorry to bother you-" *stranger jumps turning to stare for a long moment in disgust and horror before immidiately turning away in the hopes that there is no further attempt at conversation* "Um could you just..I..was only wonder-" *person glances back with a look of utter contempt before glancing around and other strangers and making eye contact as if to say "how did this person escape the mental home?" "Should we call somebody?"*
Imogen Carney Are you even serious? Are you even british? I lived in Korea and Britain both countries. And British people are actually very nice compare to Korean people. What you describe is more like Korean rather than british actually loool You just watched stupid video and generalising people. Just like you said, Don't assume what you see online.
And it is very contrary. place like US they have culture of small talk, and say hi to people they didnt know. In Britain I dont think not much as US but they also have small talk culture so random people used to talk to me for no reason. But in Korea, they dont have this kind of culture at all. If someone started to talk to Korean for no reason, they would think this guy is bit strange or scammer. I think you watch way too much Korean drama or something.
When will people stop perpetuating the bizarre stereotype that Asian countries are very racist? No, they aren't more or less racist than other countries. I had more racist encounters in Britain than in Asia but I don't stereotype Britain to be "very racist". 😒
@Karina Peters Well, the good news is: if you're a 'foreigner' they're much more lenient : ) Anyway, I feel you, I would be a total outcast there. I don't know where you live but I hope you have your family's and friends' support at least!
@Karina Peters Haha yep, they do love pale skin! But their obsession with physical perfection makes me angry lol. And I sort of get it. My parents are also very troubled and now me and my brother are too. I suffer from all kinds of psychological problems so that's really shitty. Wish you the best tho! And hope to visit Scotland again one day haha
@Karina Peters Agreed, but I feel like they're taking it too far. I am all for making the best of what you've been given (makeup, hair, clothes, treatments, etc), but all those young people having cosmetic surgery and going on crazy diets, wanting to lighten their skin is a bit much for me personally. And yes Scotland is absolutely beautiful.. I mean I'm Dutch and our country is just flat and it's not very exciting lol. I liked Glasgow too, actually.
As a Korean, I have to say, most of our grandmothers are very kind and caring, offering help to those who are in need. My grandmother gave me her scarf and 3 hot packs on my trip to Korea (I live in Australia and visit Korea every 2 years). Bless all who helps others in need.
This videso is the best. I love how everyone just treats him like another family member, advising him and wishing him the best. Love every second of this video.
@@ujoncvok That's some serious misinformation you're spreading there. Paedophiles aren't molesters, there's a difference. A paedophile is someone with a mental illness and not all of them act on their attraction to children. Psychopathy is also an illness, not all people who suffer with it are violent nor do evil things. Neither are "born evil", they're born with an illness and need help and understanding.
Oh I had tears with the old lady at the end, she made my day how caring she was to someone she didn't know. "It's difficult for the younger generation these days, isn't it?" :(
i lived in japan for a year, and let me tell you something the people are so humble and genuinely kind. i walked into a restaurant and ordered some gyoza, i had forgot my wallet and couldn’t pay so i refused to eat the meal, he insisted that i would eat as it was a cold day. the next day i returned to the restaurant and went to pay for the meal, he insisted that i didn’t have too as when he was younger he didn’t have anything. 2 years later the guy has sadly passed.
Just got back from south korea last week and I'm a bit surprised by how the people are so nice. They offered me a help even before I ask. My friend is joking about how the prime minister might tell the people to act like that to benefit the tourism industry lol.

It's the passing down of experience from one (usually older,) to another, (usually younger.) It's kinda like seeing life come full circle, and reminds us of the importance of having (hopefully,) once being cared for and nurtured. It's really touching.

This is lovely. I have experienced personally how Koreans would go out of their way to help you get to the place you are looking for. They are warm people. If there is a country I would always go back to, it is definitely Korea.♥️
Maryjane Kathlyn Moster
I had a few bad experiences in S.
Same here. Ive been there once and i experienced older people are kind and the younger once are less of that value.

Its so sad to read these words don't say that.. you may go back and meet wonderful people..i guess you had the bad luck to come across the wrong ones..I lived there for a while and koreans are kind people overall the difference between them and my country in terms of education and kindness is so huge that it made me tear up

Sometimes the reaction from these social experiments video are just too good. So you cant just tell them "oh theres a camera over there" just let it be a little secret, because eventough the people theyre helping didnt really need help, their kindness had probably helped many others indirectly.
By helping others they are also helping themselves as they can live on knowing that they've helped someone ^_^ It really is a beautiful thing

Why are grandparents so selfless and nice to EVERYONE.. we gotta look after them more instead of abandoning them.. for all they have done for us
bulgogi because they see us as their younger reflection. They know how hard life can be, so they give us presents, food, affection and cheering to let us live the life they never had.
bulgogi here in Sweden they are..cruel, yes they are bsjsvsi They just are so rude and think they own the world ;-;
bulgogi *exactly.

Korea is definitely one of the most powerful countries now economically, culturally, and economically. Korea has been that for thousands of years with the exception of a stagnation during the late 19th century. I do agree with you the some people mistake kindness for weakness.

This reminds me of one time when I was a little kid:
My parents and I went to this occasion that took place within the premises of a hotel. He smiled at me and walked away.

mizzeshy That’s in America though.
Bless her

This video is so therapeutic. And I really like how the Korean people respect, love and care for each other.
Now a days it's so hard to find warm ppl .... I'm pretty sure all where older gen. ..... they still have warm heart

That's so true but at least britain is diverse and most people aren't bigoted racists. In asian countries they are very racist.
When will people stop perpetuating the bizarre stereotype that Asian countries are very racist? No, they aren't more or less racist than other countries. I had more racist encounters in Britain than in Asia but I don't stereotype Britain to be "very racist". 😒
