This is one hell of a haunting melody beautifully arranged and sung in a masterful way. The lyrics are great (as far as I could understand.) A perfect song! I love it to the bone. I feel sad that its video that was craftily made is nowhere available. It is a shame how some masterpieces disappear through time leaving no trail behind. Can someone please post the lyrics of this song?

Yes, I did too! Put it on yesterday. Perhaps this track & the title track which closes the album are my picks. Lovely stuff.

I rarely play this less than 3 times in a row. Masterpiece recording. Manta Ray is amazing.

Lay Down Joe is a beautiful song by Nan Vernon. Can't seem to find it anywhere though.. Wary of The Walls too.

@cassius303 I saw her perform with Dave Stewart & The Spiritual Cowboys back in '91. She had a couple of solo songs and blew away the audience. :)
