What Christie says about recognizing a narcissist is spot on. Those of us who have had to deal with them can indeed identify them even through a news report.

I’m surprised that he didn’t throw someone else’s name out there, especially if he had them help him. I’m wondering if it’s possible that he somehow was able to make his victim compliant to a certain point (threats, drugs, torture, etc.) so it would be easier for him . Thank you again, John and Christy, for a well researched case cracked.

The psychology of a perpetrator is so enlightening and can provide so much insight into the behavior of criminals, their motivatons and pathology.
Bala's definately a narcissist, (EDIT: to write a book on your own crime?; the arrogance!🙄), and a Cluster B personality is always the "smartest" person in the room. I wonder how high he'd score on Hare's Psychopathy Checklist.

Those are two books I won’t read. Thanks for the upload. You can kidnap & kill a guy his size. All you need is a gun, a person who is terrified= the victim will do anything to save their life. I don’t think he acted with another person.

I'm not sure...it is very possible of course. As long as you have a weapon as said above, I'm just struggling with his size and being able to tie the ropes while he's still alive and likely struggling. And him having to carry him to the water source etc...he's not a big guy he's quite small actually. I'm not sure...

Also I don't know if I truly believe the wife. I think they may have been having a relationship before the divorce. But that does not give him the right to murder.
