Things that are NOT UPDATED in Video:
    - Jammu & Kashmir is now split into 2 union territory (Ladakh, and J&K). So now there are 28 states and 8 union territories.
    - Dadar Nagar Haveli and Daman n Diu are Old Portugese colonies.
    - He Missed: Largest statue in the world. : statue of unity and MANY FAMOUS and Wonderful Forts.
    - Non-Vegetarians in India are ocassional meat eaters, especially in north. Hence even though they eat meat, they are not eating daily, as commonly as in other places.
    - World's Last Asiatic LIONS. Hence ONLY country, with, both tigers n lion.
    - Movies: always a happy ending is kindaf wrong its stereotype mostly.
    - As for the negetive stuff, it was true, but those things have gone down signficantly ! since that video is made, so its sort of over the top now. Also India is fastest growing top economy of the world, so development / changes are rapid.
    - India's SPACE programs are the most successful space missions in the world. First nation to reach mars in single attempt, Discovered water on moon, the sun mission. and all of that at the fraction of a normal cost.
    - He missed really major PRO/famous games: kabaddi, kho-kho etc.
    - In late 2011 the state's name was officially changed from Orissa to Odisha.

Fun Fact, India has four type of deserts and the fourth one is relatively unknown so not even geography peeps do not know about it.
Thar desert, which is sandy deserts like sahara/arabian.
The Ladhak desert or the cold desert, which is Akin to gobi desert/tibetean plateau.
the Rann of Kutch, the salt desert, yes white salt.
And these is a Red desert deep down south in Tamil Nadu which is relatively small but climate and geography has made the landscape red and barren.

    Lemme try this lol
    1. It was Orissa (romanized) but in 2011 they changed it to Odisha (native)
    2. Delhi is the largest metropolitan region (32million)
But Mumbai has the highest city population (12.5million)
    3. Ganges is the anglicized name, the native name is Ganga (sanskrit)
    4. Peacock is the National Bird of India.
    5. Millet is an umbrella term for a variety of grass seed, its often called the "poor man's cereal"
    6. India is also the 2nd largest Rice & wheat producer after China.
    7. Indo-Aryan refers to Indo-Iranian, a sub-branch of Indo-European language family.
Aryan word itself comes from sanskrit meaning "noble" and was also used for ancient Iranians. Iran literally means "land of aryans" in sanskrit.
    8. correction here: India has 22 Scheduled languages, 2 official language used by the federal government (Hindi & English), and no National language.
    9. When he says "North west" he is only referring to Kashmir.
    10. The "500 princely states" was created AFTER british conquered India. When East India Company arrived in India, Mughal Empire controlled most parts of India, but by 1720s Mughal Empire weakened and Mughal provinces became more autonomous. After Mughals, The Maratha Empire controlled almost 2/3rd of India until 1780s, and they were allied with the French. But after France lost the 7years war, Britain kind of became a dominant force in the region.
In 1857, Britain conquered Delhi defeating the last Mughal emperor.
    10. Statue Unity is the tallest statue in the world, since 2018.
    11. India has strategic partners (not allies), the closest being Russia, France, Japan & the US. India maintains good diplomatic relationships with prettymuch everyone except Pakistan and China. (Although we had a fall out with Maldives too recently)

There is no actual conflict in the recent decades over Arunachal. China denies McMohan line [read about it] and its interest is to boil Arunachal issue (calling the area south tibet) so that it can use it as a leverage and stake higher claim over Aksai Chin (North east of Kashmir) As you know China has boundry issue with all its neighbors and want to just occuppy their land by all means, it has similar thing with India. However, Indian army is brave enough to protect our boundary. One more interesting thing, china doesn't have just claim over Aksai and Arunachal pradesh but also stakes claim over other state territories like Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Try to look for videos of Major Gaurav Arya [the Chanayakya Dialogues] in english and you ll know our perspective towards the Chinese

    Kashmir is actually very small
Ladakh is very big its actually Buddhists dominated and its completely different from j&k
    Jammu is hindu dominated
Kashmir is actually sunni dominated specify (saudi wahabis)
    But the native Kashmiri hindus
    Went through persecution
They re now in USA Canada UK and Europe and some live in Kashmir and others live in other parts of india
Kashmiri hindus left Kashmir in 90s it was 2nd ethnic cleansing of native hindus
    Fun fact
Afganistan still have hindu population the last of their kind imagine about 200 people
After so many brutal exchange still hindus are there

    Hinduism is not one religion
    And its not even religion
Its polytheism, monotheism , pantheism , atheism .

And just after when Modi was invited to white house he even claimed that even they were inspired and made all millets based food.

27:38 That's false. India was already pretty much unified by Marathas, before the British came and ended up.
Furthermore, when the British left, they made all the local kings and princes independent, and the reason they aren't a separate country from India is because of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Statue of Unity person).
Furthermore, the British were the ones who did the partition.

16:59 you're treading dangerously close to questions of identity and politics here. effectively, the overall consumption of cattle meat is quite low even in Abrahamic communites, particularly in the north. However, as both communites grew in epochs where foreigners of those religions ruled the subcontinent, overcoming the culturual taboos and eating beef became a point of proving your new identity and closeness to the dominant rulers.
