In this episode of Scrybabies Lua navigates a complicated deck while facing three Gremlins in a trench coat.
Haldan, Avid Arcanist // Pako, Arcane Retriever is only as "complicated" as what non creature cards you exile with fetch counters that gives you advantage. The Gitrog Monster is complicated.

@MageSkeleton hahahaha man I have been playing magic for 25 years and am new to Cedh, and with the cards I had laying around the easiest deck for me to build was gitrog and man even with all my experience I have difficulty piloting that deck.

Lana decks went nuts!! The only point I would like to make is that mox diamond just discard the land, no need to exile the card.
Extra turns are so much fun as long as it’s your extra turns. I use Aesi for my good stuff extra turns deck.
Wish the life total was placed so it didn’t cover any cards. There’s a few times something is covered. Fun game
Alan I just sleeved my Thalia and gitrog. But I feel every time I see you play dhalism that I will have to build him instead. I lack the good black stack pieces any way 😅

Every time I watch the scybabies, one question always comes to mind, "Does Tori run lands in her decks?"

it's a simple deck build, made easier by the myriad of extra combat/extra turn spells that are non creature spells.

Man I miss my Pako/Haldan deck. It got stolen along with some other decks and cards when I moved. It was budget nonsense it was so fun
Edit: DAMMIT, LUA! Now I really miss Pako/Haldan. Now I want to build it again 😭😆
Haldan, Avid Arcanist // Pako, Arcane Retriever can make for some fairly one sided gaming as seen in this video. Anyone looking to get into CEDH can easily play these commanders and can dominate most games as Pako provides resource denial to the opponents, while with Haldan gives you extra resources. And this leads to often having incredible card advantage especially if an opponent runs non creature spells that provide extra combats or extra turns as you become more powerful by such spells. From my experience continually getting rid of Pako as his casting cost becomes more and more is the only way to shut the deck down, but is easier said than done. Some say "get rid of Haldan" when all Haldan does is allow access to the exiled cards. If there are no cards exiled with fetch counters on them Haldan is completely useless. The problem is more that Pako has haste.
Ultimately, only a Haldan, Avid Arcanist // Pako, Arcane Retriever commander deck can counter a Haldan, Avid Arcanist // Pako, Arcane Retriever commander deck. Unless you decided to bring cards that would be useless to Haldan or a creature deck.

A turn-1 casting of her 5-drop commander made Lua too far ahead too early... Playing with expensive cards like jeweled lotus makes games less fun to watch.
