This song was released in 1975. This performance was 33 years later and it sounds the same if not better. And much younger Jason on drums did a fantastic job. His father would be proud. With talent like this, it's no wonder why us older people are stuck musically in the past.

That is my favorite performance ever. From any band. Ever. Robert Plant the lead singer just crushed the entire concert. But this song he’s on another level. Jimmy on the guitar, JPJones on keyboards and Jason Bonham filling in for his decreased father does an absolutely amazing job. This was in a word master class.

How lucky are you guys, if this is your first time experiencing their greatness, just look at what you have to come with tracks such as The Immigrant Song, Whole Lotta Love, Gallows Pole, Black Dog, Rock and Roll , to name but a few. I first saw Zeppelin live in March 1969, at my local pub, which had a weekly rock night every Sunday, and a further six times after that up until 1980. The first time I saw them play Kashmir live was in 1976, and it's been my favourite ever since. I did apply for a ticket for this Celebration Day concert at the o2 arena, but with there being 20,000,000 applications for one of the 20,000 tickets ,unfortunately I was one of the unlucky applicants, and I certainly missed out big time , as this is definitely the best I've ever heard Kashmir played. Great reaction lads, keep up the good work.

They were nothing if not versatile. I really recommend going through their discography and watching their live performances from the 70s, especially from madison square garden in '73! Anything from them is amazing.
Robert Plant on lead vocals, Jimmy Page on guitar, John Paul Jones on bass and keys and originally John Bonham on drums. Bonham sadly passed in 1980 and in this performance his son Jason is on drums.

Led Zeppelin has a huge catalog of music and so many great songs. This is one of my favorites along with the Immigrant Song. Another, probably their most notable, is called Stairway To Heaven. The band was ahead of their time, but they broke up right after the drummer John Bonham died in 1980. Since then they have done random appearances with John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham performing in his place.

Songs that are from the albums and regularly go 4 minutes or longer. The albums were what was the big thing back then from the best groups.

They’re just as wonderful and seductive as ever. Robert’s voice is terrific. His stage presence is more commanding than ever. And the band sounds like it’s coming from the center of the earth. Enormous, nasty, carnivorous, delicious.

Now you can see why so many people, like me, believe that Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock groups of all time! Pink Floyd is another great group from the 70s you should check out...

A performance so good it didn’t even require a Jimmy Page solo cuz he was doing one the entire time.
10/10. No notes for anyone involved.

    They recorded this in 1975.
The original drummer died in 1980 and that's his son on drums.
Listen to Achilles Last Stand live at Knebworth. You will be exhausted after you get done.

Hands down thee best rock and roll band there ever was. If you want to hear just how good this performance was for their age, check out the same song, Live at Knebworth 1979. Best version of this song I ever heard.
