i prefer Jeff Lynn over Queen just because i like Elo's style a bit better to my taste, queen were great in their own way also but there was a special on here about Jeff Lynn and he plays like 8 instruments and has a studio in his house that is unreal, check out "all over the world" by ELO :)

Hands down the greatest live performance of all time, and they were only supposed to do i think 7 min sets the stage crew were told if anyone goes over the time unplug them they let queen play 21 min I believe I'm not sure of time

They're from England. Adam who won American Idol is now their lead singer when they tour. Sounds very similar to Freddie. This is an iconic band from the 80s. Everyone knows them. "We will Rock you" became a staple at sports events, but Bohemian Rhapsody was their most famous. We Are The Champions is part of We Will Rock You. It's all one song, just 2 parts.

This music is from an era when it was designed to be listened to with headphones on and perhaps when toking on a doobie and chilling out. It is music that you let transport you to another place. Today’s music by contrast is for people with a very limited attention span and must keep them engaged. The older music you ‘feel’ and let it soak in to your body and move you.

Suggestion for another one that's a little lower on the EPIC list, older, but an amazing live performance of a rock anthem that is better than the album version: "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Live at Oakland Coliseum, July 1977. Wanna see a crowd? "Enter Sandman" - Metallica, Live in Moscow, 1991.

First found your channel with Queen Live Aid. Excellent choice. But then I had to look for Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd tells stories with their music. Once you dive deeper into their music the feeling of the song makes a lot more since. It's a bitter-sweet understanding that this song is second to last at the Pulse concert. After reading some of the other comments that others left; I do hope, as you both continue your journey into Pink Floyd, that you do realize there are some rules to listening to Pink Floyd. And those are... 1. HEADPHONES!!! No spoilers, but there are some crazy things that they do with sound that you will miss using only standard speakers. No joke. 2. NEVER pause a David Gilmore solo. It's just wrong and if you let the man play your ears, heart, and soul will thank you. 3. Listen to the full albums before you listen to individual song. And you definitely need to listen to the albums before you watch anything from the Pulse concert. It's just that, at least in my opinion, the 1994 Pink Floyd Pulse Concert is one of the most amazing shows ever put on, period. You don't need to listen to all their albums in order to appreciate the Pulse concert. All you really need is their stories, their conceptual works, focus on their most thematic albums. Start with - 1. The Dark Side of the Moon 2. Wish You Were Here 3. Animals 4. The Wall 5. The Final Cut 6. The Dark Side of the Moon again. 7. Then watch the full Pulse concert. You can watch the full show on You Tube and it will blow your minds. I look forward to your future post and your journey into Pink Foyd.
