It's unlikely that you will ever read this comment, but he probably didn't build it but it's still a stock block pushrod v6 that people in the Turbo Buick forum refer to it as a junk block.
If you ever read this, it says at the beginning that it's a stock block. The stock block is a 231 v6, which has been bored to 30 over, making the displacement it a 235ci. He's either running GN1 or TA Performance heads. From my understanding the block has an engine girdle, which isn't really necessary when the block has a deep skirt like the stock GN motor. Having my own GN, I can say it responds nicely to upgrades. I bought my Grand National in 2008. It was essentially stock. I bought a slightly larger turbo, put in bigger injectors and installed alky injection. It really woke up a car that was already woke up. From street light to street light, it's a very fun car to drive. It's a great car for the 1/8th and even the 1/4, but because of the inferior aero-dynamics once the gets up there in speed it's not all the fun to drive anymore. My car has hit 130 before and the front end started to lift and scared the chit out of me. CAM is probably a billet roller, maybe a 218/224.
...The absolutely nastiest V-6 engine on the face of the Planet!...True testament to Buick's automotive engineering!...5-Stars!...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!
Awesome love the Grand national.
Right on, the struggle is real!
I'D SURE SAY THAT THESE RUNS PROVE THAT SIX CYLINDERS CAN GO!!! AND SOUND GREAT TOO!
Playing Russian roulette with that stock block.
thanks chris

Not bad for a 70's pushrod v6 junk block!
