I absolutely love watching you delve into the fusion of virtual soundscapes with the essence of real-world instruments. It's a joy to see how you bring these two worlds together, blurring the lines between the digital and the tangible. Keep pushing those boundaries-your exploration is both inspiring and fascinating!
Great tutorial and neat trick! Try changing the Noise seed from Stable to Random. You get a lot more variation in the sound when the noise bursts don't all have the same "fingerprint". When each noise burst is different it sounds heaps more alive.
I’m new to your channel, and although I’ve been playing synths and keyboards for 40 years, I’m very much a novice at sound design. Your videos are informative and inspirational. Thanks!
You’re blowing my mind Mr Glitch…again 🤯 I’m a big fan of modal synthesis, coming from a background in acoustic instruments. Never thought about exploring it in phase plant though.
Nice job! Pigments has a cool resonator but I've also been doing this in VCV Rack. You can make stuff really similar to Mutable Instruments Rings, but with better tuning (Rings always sounds out of tune to me!). 👍
Yeah it does look good, but I just came on to say you can do this in VCV (or Cardinal) for free. Pinging phasers/all-pass filters makes some interesting tones too
because of the nesting, snap-heap inside snap heap, you can go deeper, adding more filters. Infiltrator caps out at 8 or 10 (can't remember exactly now)
Is it possible to make realistic strings in Phase Plant using Karplus-Strong method? You did it with Vital. I tried to do it in Phase Plant using noise and Flanger snap-in, but it’s not possible to get a note lower than G2. Thanks a lot for your work! Regards from Kyiv, Ukraine!
@@DashGlitch The resonator seems to work. Thanks! But in the Vital I was able to achieve much more realistic timbres. There are probably some workarounds to do the same things in Phase Plant. Waiting for your next video!
i just can not get enough of slapping massive resonators on stuff. it's always beautiful to do that
Been watching some of your Phase Plant videos lately. Really useful stuff! Thanks! 👍
Physical modelling is an addiction. A good addiction.

Thanks for the tip!

Brilliant video, phase plant Is a level up synth !
You made exactly the tutorial I've been wanting for 3 months now Thank You
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful little rundown!
Wonderful rundown!
your videos are always gold!
Thanks!
You’re great man!
Thanks!
Very cool method! Thx a lot!

Wow dude fucking brilliant. This is some technical shit
Thank you!
Dope!
Thanks!
The face he's making in the thumbnail is like *HONHHHH ???????*
I gotta get phaseplant
yep

Is the camera mirrored? Or does he use a mouse left-handed!?
Excellent video. Very cool sound design
It’s mirrored haha good spotting
@@DashGlitch I use mouse for both hands, highly recommend.
Quick question: why Snapheap as the multi-FX instead of say….Infiltrator? Is it the detuning of the partials…
because of the nesting, snap-heap inside snap heap, you can go deeper, adding more filters. Infiltrator caps out at 8 or 10 (can't remember exactly now)
I can hear a 60th organ in this.
Thanks for all of your awesome tips and instruction. What is the spectrum analyzer you are running in background?
That's Minimeters
Hallo, do you know how to do microtuning and microtune scale in phaseplant?
La, La, Like, Like... Like! Thanks!
Thank you too!
I've just got bitwig 5.2.4 and can't find snapheap or phaseplant... they look native, are they vst's though?? I'm confused.
Yea they're third party, Actually very similar design ethos, nesting and modular! So I can see the confusion.

Try with the resonator ;) I will do a video on it!
@@DashGlitch yes pls do!!

Banned Audio?
I don't understand
