it generally means this, but also its intended to mean its a very important person mix, ie its only distributed to djs and is therefore well exclusive. the popular ones get pressed though, screamer vip was getting played out for like 18 months before it came out
Variation In Production. another version of the tune the artist makes whilst making the original...its like another idea of the same project. they can be made after the original is published though.
@multimastercivicsick variation in production? it depends on who you ask, but its generally very close to the original but tweaked slightly. can be by others though.
@mattROSSperotto Depends in what state of mind you are, dont really remember wrighting that so i think that says about enough xD Its just A Nice Tune. Peace
a dnb vip is a remix of a track done by the original artist that made the track in the first place, i.e this is nero remixing there own track, that make sense? i`m sure i could make that easier 2 understand lol
Concerning the discussion of genre: In general, this is Drum&Bass (170-175 BPM, typical drum-pattern), with samples which are mostly used in Dubstep. Nero tend to combine both genres plus Electronics quite often, so it might be difficult to separate. Easily: Drum & Bass with a slight tendency to Drumstep. (Drumstep is nothing but (up-sped) Dubstep with a major amount of Drum & Bass-elements) Sorry, aber für eine deutsche Übersetzung reicht der Platz wohl nicht mehr aus ;P
surely if its done by other`s it would be just called a remix??? i always thought a vip was the original artist remixing there own track? i may be wrong thou :)
@CometSnuff is doch eig sowas von scheiß egal oO fängt genauso an wie beim ganzen metal zeugs :/ dubstep und dnb überschneiden sich doch ehdie ganze zeit
Oldschoolscribblescrabbllee them kids’ll never knoooo
just to confirm, VIP is 'variation in production' as has already been stated numerous times, it isn't necessarily a remix, just an alternative lick.
That’s affirmative m8

@CometSnuff ach, und es heisst Produzent ;)
Pretty much.
I believe it's a remix by the original artist.
Nero are dubstep/DnB producer's, a band doesn't have to stick to one genre you know....
surely if its done by other`s it would be just called a remix??? i always thought a vip was the original artist remixing there own track? i may be wrong thou :)
For reasons unexplained, I always get Rusko and Nero mixed up...
the VIP's are always better in Nero's case i believe
